How to watch multiple computers/miners, Windows 7

I now have 2 windows 7 PC's up and actively mining in my basement.

I want to be able to watch them from the PC in my office, instead of running downstairs to see if they are up.

They keep crashing and I would like to know when that happens.

I have tried logmein but I think that uses up a lot of hashing power.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Checking pool website would probably be the easiest solution. Make sure each computer is assigned to a different worker on the pool website to keep tabs on them. Some pools will even send you an email alert when a worker stops sending hashes. I think some may even send SMS alerts.

If the computers are only mining, you alternately might want to consider something like BAMT @ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=65915.0

All VNC software's going to have the same hash-stealing problem as Logmein, so those are probably your best bets.

checking that thread... Its MASSIVE (74 pages) but will read every post, thanks for the heads up, I think this is what Im after. Might have to ditch windows, might be for the best though.

I tried a pool (deepbit I think) that allowed you get get an alert when your miner became inactive, neat feature. Right now Im only on Slush, I like the vibe there so I will stick there for now.

I have a separate monitor in my office and like (would like) to obsessively watch the miners if I can. Getting emails etc is not exactly what I want.

I will be installing some miners at my cottage also because I get power for $0.02 a kw hour (Im serious, its called 'farm hydro') so I really wanna watch these miners

With my 9 rig setup, which will be growing very soon, I use worker threads on coinotron's pool and login and check them frequently.

Additionally, I also use UVNC to make changes. I also took it a step further, as we know many times the machines are not responsive if GPUs are not working, and I have switched PDUs that will allow me to remotely power cycle each plug (BIOS set to auto power on - don't forget this one).

found some switched PDU's, very slick never knew such things existed. Any chance you can recommend a particular one? The site Im on has about 30 of them, no idea which one to get

Try Teamviewer 8. Its free, and seems to work well.
