May Bitcoin be touched by his Noodly Appendage

Hi everybody

Futurecoin (FTR) is a coin I didn't created yet.
Thus it has no value, no logo, no client and no genesis block (it has a genesis coinbase though) but will have everything in the near future (less than a month).
People can already buy me some Futurecoin or beg for some mFTR.

As there is nothing yet except the genesis coinbase, I'll give to the recipients the transaction raw data that you will be able to import into the FTR blockchain when I release it.

Maximum coins: 10^9 FTR
Block: 100 FTR

Own address: 19QkqAza7BHFTuoz9N8UQkryP4E9jHo4N3 - Pywallet support: 1AQDfx22pKGgXnUZFL1e4UKos3QqvRzNh5 - Bitcointalk++ script support: 1Pxeccscj1ygseTdSV1qUqQCanp2B2NMM2
Pywallet: instructions. Encrypted wallet support, export/import keys/addresses, backup wallets, export/import CSV data from/into wallet, merge wallets, delete/import addresses and transactions, recover altcoins sent to bitcoin addresses, sign/verify messages and files with Bitcoin addresses, recover deleted wallets, etc.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

But why?  Just to have your name in the codebase on github or what?

How is it going to be different?
Will you innovate something new?
What will this coin do/have that distinguishes itself from the others (what, 20 this month alone) that have been released recently?

Honestly, not trying to be negative, just truly wondering what motivates all these additional coins.

Yeah sure, you should look at my github account before writing such things  Roll Eyes

One thing I don't get, why all the alt coins haters come to my joke thread when all other new scam coins are free from such comments?

We already wanted to release Futurecoin.

But FTC acronym was already taken by Feathercoin (FTC) so we chose Ethicoin instead: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=221375.msg2334677

Yes, this is why perhaps fake coin ANN threads should be banned.

But jackjack is a BTC man from way back and I wouldn't want to steal his thunder!

decoderawtransaction seems Ok, but this wallet is on btc-e, so I can't do much with raw transactions Smiley

You won't be able to use btc-e for this as the FTR client isn't released yet

Anyone wanting some FTR? I can still give away 80 FTR from the genesis transaction
