Hi. We can get the Avalon6/Pi working properly. The PSU stays on with the fan on low. The fan on the Avalon6 comes on loudly for a couple of seconds and then stops. The light on the black blinks yellowish-green.
The Pi has the software from Canaan.io, but the system really never boots up.
When we bought the Avalon6, it didn't come with a 4pin to usb, so we bought this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IV6S9S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, but some posts seem to say that we need an AUC2. Is this my problem?
Or do you think the problem is solely on the Pi software? When I run the Pi, hooked up to a monitor, it says "Link is not ready". If I then plug it into the Avalon6, it starts looping, showing 4-pixel square (looks like a rainbow) and lines of code. I do notice a line that repeats quite a bit that says "usb 1-1-port2: over-current change" as well as "EXT4-fs error".
Any ideas?
Thanks.
