I compiled the linux wallet from source and it just seems to be a bitcoin wallet....there shouldnt be 300k blocks yet for a brand new coin?

Isn't it at 300?  Where are you seeing 300k?

Also when you say "just seems to be a bitcoin wallet" I think that's the idea.  It's Bitcoin, where the ledger is decentralized, but this coin is also trying to decentralize the entire ecosystem (websites, forums etc), not just the mining.  I don't think it has the marketing push here to make it go mainstream, but it's an interesting idea.

my Qt wallet shows blockchain height of 323 blocks. Also, the zero network design is very good. I think the OP should make this announcement more visually appealing. there are no images at all.

How long have you been mining?
I have adjusted the minimum payout to 5, so everyone should have gotten a payout.
