I heard that mining BTC is becoming harder day by day. I would like to know which coin is currently the most profitable coin for mining.

Which is the most profitable coin now for mining?

You do not want  the answer to this question. above

you want the answer to the question below.

What coin to mine today  for 2 months  with sha 256 gear to sell at max profit?

The answer is BTC or BCC or PPC.

99% chance one of those 3 answers is correct.

MY choice is to mine BTC  with 40th  and mine BCC with 10th  and fuck PPC

Mine bitcoin already impossible. It is very expensive, better to find another altcoin like DASH

I mine bitcoin and make a profit off of it. I'm not saying that it is the best, but it is definitely profitable

I have my reasons to highly doubt that, but I'll go ahead and try to give a reasonable answer to OP.

The profitability of each coin changes constantly, therefore, we cannot answer which coin is the most profitable to mine currently. The most known ones to be mined currently are Ethereum, ZCash and their similar Ethhash and Equihash coins, like Musiccoin (Ethhash) or ZenCash (Equihash).

Check Whattomine.com you will find plenty of information there. Also, try using Nicehash on your machine, it will benchmark all available algorithms and choose the most profitable one.

I have one option: XMR

Mining XMR won't consume a lot of energy compare with other altcoins. So, it has advantage when the energy price is high.

Another option is ETH or Zcash, the price is stable for a long term.

It depends on what you're mining with, AMD cards can mine monero and eth/etc efficiently, Nvidia cards are really good on vtc/zec/lbc and asic miners are only good for their algo, if you have an l3+ try mining less famous scrypt coins, these should get you more revenue in the future but is a risky play

For AMD gpu's I would say Ethereum dual mining with Decred.
For Nvidia gpu's I would say SIGT.
For ASICs, I would say bitcoin, and hopping on bitcoin cash when the difficulty is low.

I keep track of mining profit over time, for most cards.  Here is a chart I make  if anyone interested. Also has settings recommendations. Working on improvements, feedback welcome

I am using AMD gpu's dual mining ethereum and sia. I definitely like the results of the ethereum but not too excited about sia, and am thinking of either switching sia out as a secondary for decred or just putting all the power towards mining ethereum.

You can take a look here https://whattomine.com

It's a good indicator with the actual market volume indicator for the coins displayed ...
