a notification if someone quoted our post

i think it's a good thing if the forums have a notification when someone quoted our post, so we just clicked those notifications and it will redirect us to the quoted post. By this, we don't need to take a lot of time for scrolling and finding if someone quoted our posts or not.
Or I might be a dumb that this features actually has been around on this forums already?

Yes it will be a good thing if the forums have a notification when someone qouted our post, then we can easily reply to the one qouted our post. Maybe the one qouted our post would ask a question or clarification.
I am sure that there were many unanswered questions from the one whom quoted our post.

AFAIK this feature will be available in the new forum software that is being built.

No. We don't have this currently. For now, you can search your name in the search bar and find some posts that are quoting you.

Yes I hope so too, because it will greatly facilitate our access or find the page where we make a posting, because for the moment only available notification via email and I personally very rarely opened the email, so far I only use the bookmark of the browser to make it easier but often doesn't work well.

Truelly, getting notifications on our quoted post would have been better. The one I know about is when you watch or notify that thread to your email address, that is when you can know if there are new replies in the thread.

I thought i was the only one having this problem. I have to go over the whole thread all the time to find out it someone has quoted my posts. It is time consuming then i thought maybe there is this button here in the forum that notifies us.

Yes this is true and this really bothers me, because when some one reply to a threads which I follow I got tons of emails in my gmail, so I guess this feature must be change with getting notifications one someone reply ti your posts.

You can just put those automatically in the spam folder which would (iirc) automatically delete with the default or set time. Anyway, it is like "show new rellies to your posts" at the top-left corner which really doesn't guarantee that someone has quoted you. It would be nice if the new forum software would implemented asap together with this feature.

So the post quality might be increased due to a better conversation on the thread

It sent me an email, but I skip read it and deleted it without registering the thread.
Now that I know it works, I'll probably use this feature in future. Thanks for testing it
