[ICO] Issuing a Coin for our Global Marketplace App with 215k Users

Hi everyone,

We are thinking about creating a cryptocurrency for our marketplace Swapit (www.swapit.la) where people trade new and second hand stuff with other people who are nearby each other. The underlying Blockchain and its distributed ledger technology is perfect for managing peer-2-peer transactions we have in Swapit.

I know there have been many ICOs so far; wanting to do similar things, but none of them has an active community, marketplace and platform already. We have all of that.

What does the crypto community think about this?

Does this make sense to you?

What tips / suggestions could you give us to get this off the ground?

I think if you really have such a big community you MUST make your own crypto. There are not already existed marketplace with so many real customers at crypto as I know. The first crypto marketplace with real usage will definitely be succesful! I wish you luck! BTW cool name swapit!

Yes, it's a cool name, right?

In 2016 our platform saw a gross merchandise value of USD $140M traded. Of course, that was all in fiat and most in person in cash. By moving to a crypto currency, we hope we can digitize that entire transaction process, make it more seamless, more transparent and even more international.
