As for your other points I'm not going to re-discuss them over again and spend 8 hours going around in circles.  The source code and paper will address the issues you have when the time comes.

I was in the first page of this thread, still got nothing, but i registered on the website too. I think we will get some news soon and i hope i will not be forgotten

To start yes, with native clients later on for efficiency.

It'll be open source anyway, so a Java implementation allows cross platform quickly and decompilation of code isn't an issue.

I really think that backing EMU's with USD is a call for failure before start. The whole point of all cryptos is to replace fiat (at least it should be. i hope it will - in the long run)
Backing it up with a worthless paper might cause issues, since we all know that it isnt stable enough and will only lose value.

Platina, Gold and Silver (maybe even some diamonds or preacious stones as opposed to metals would drive some more interest)
If you decide to go this way, make sure you dont buy bonds or shares, but actual physical item (ie gold bars, silver bars and diamonds, saphires and such). These things will only gain value in the long run. If you have the 50-100K - use it to buy something more valuable

I agree with you but why than put a counter which do not mean anything?

There are so many stories in cryptocoin world where people promise something and than they are not able to fulfill they promise.

So why tell that something will be when you yourself are not sure if it is possible?!

Please guys do not take me wrong, I am not accusing that this is scam or something like that, just do not like disinfo.

So wait patiently and I know he will write up a post explaining where we are at today. We have collected a ton of inquiries and will be contacting all of these people via email to get them where we need. From there the development will be moments away from testing.

Beta is going live over the weekend and we'll be contacting the first 20-ish over that time period.  I know some of you are real eager to get on board and play with this, but I hope you can appreciate that we would rather slip the date than release a duff client, even beta wise, first impressions count.

Anyone that isn't contacted in the next day or so, do not worry, we'll be ramping up quite quickly over the next week or so.  We want to go with a small amount of beta testers to start not only to test the client, but also the bug tracking software and other infrastructures.   Debugging on forums is not fun.

I have a black belt in breaking simple things. Perfect for testing. AND I use linux with a mixed amount of knowledge. Perfect, right?
