Developers at some of the top tech companies have created a browser API that could soon make it easier to buy goods and services online with cryptocurrency.

Soon we can see the plugins of bitcoin in chrome, safari or even brave browser.
API creation on every browser make the people think what is bitcoin. This automatically market the without any payment.

What do you mean by browser api and how will that make buying easier.
If the vendors themselves don't accept btc, how will we pay to them in bitcoins ?

You basically want to say that somehow this will be a means of marketing bitcoins without paying. But still people need to install a plugin to get to know about it ?

I think you are out of update about bitcoin because the Google currency conversion of bitcoin is I am seeing more than 2 years bro. Please read complete wikipedia page about bitcoin to crystal clear overview information about bitcoin.
Brave is first browser I noticed that have bitcoin price and mining calc plug ins which is being inbuild in the site.

I never trusted Google. They monitor the whole world. We don't know where the information is stored in Google and to whom it will give. Sooner or later the us government will attack bitcoin. Then Google can provide information about all the users of bitcoins.

this news actually sounds pretty great. i have not seen much details about this since it is mostly in the early stages but from what i have read in these articles so far, i believe this can help bitcoin's adoption a lot. it makes accepting bitcoin payments much easier and we know that convenience is a very important factor when it comes to merchants adopting bitcoin and users wanting to pay with it.

I've always found the google currency conversion for Bitcoin very convenient. I always use it. I can't do the same with other altcoins, and I'd have to access other websites. With the google currency conversion for bitcoin, all I have to do is type it on the search bar and the results would automatically come out. I have not yet read the wikipedia page of Bitcoin because I'm not a fan of wikipedia but I have noticed that bitcoin can be already found in various places all over the web.

These new API sounds exciting and I think that it would be a good contribution for the bitcoin community and for bitcoin users. The market for bitcoin is continuing to expand and more innovations such as this keep on appearing.

This is pretty damn exciting. I am still not sure how the API would work, and the Coindesk article only gave vague details, but this has serious potential to spread awareness on Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in general.

One thing to note, though, is that we are still going to need developers to make use of the API. It looks like we will be able to take advantage of it using add-ons, which is a security risk. Still, we're getting there!

True! as days goes by everything seems to adapt in favor of bitcoin whether the market value , investors and different services online are changing towards a bitcoin efficient system.

Maybe better idea would be making bitcoin browser which will not depends from others browsers and I think bitcoin users would be agree with this idea. Maybe its just the beginning, firstly they will make plugins in already existing browsers and in the future they will make own browser.

If they really update their browsers with such features then every web wallet or desktop wallet should go home. I see in forum ad spaces, Browsers are not known for their airtight security.
