I really think that it's a good way to generate buzz around a project. See people are actually waiting for it and are checking this thread regularly hence maintaining interest in the project. |

What is the actual time of Pre-ICO?

00:00 UTC/GMT Sep 30th = 20:00/8:00pm EDT Sep 29th
OP says
00:00/12:00AM EST Sep 30th = 04:00 UTC/GMT Sep 30th
International time differences are difficult enough to convert then add in US Daylight Saving Time (ST/DT) and you start banging your head into a wall. Half of the year the east coast of the US is -4 UTC/GMT and the other half it is -5 UTC/GMT
The actual release time is: 00:00 UTC/GMT Sep 30thApologies for the confusion and you are right about getting heads around international time zones when daylight saving is involved!
