When looking at Coinmarketcap, lets say 2 sept 2017, ethereum price curve is 340 USD, and following the bitcoin curve right underneath it says 0.074 bitcoin.

Does it mean, that 1 ethereum is worth 0.074 bitcoin right at that moment? Or does it mean something else?

Yes, it's the current value of 1 ethereum in BitCoin.
