Hi, my name is Mike! I'm a Research Fellow at the Commonwealth Foundation in Pennsylvania, Project Lead for a small bitcoin educational company, and am a law student at Drexel University. I also blog a lot about bitcoin. I hope that they'll let me post in the rest of the forums soon.

kthxbye

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Just make a bunch of posts.  How about we start a chat?  What type of bitcoin educational company are you starting exactly?
