Well, i think we should be really concerned sir. Because these tyoe of personalities can do so much damage or great things to Bitcoins and obviously to all other alternative coins in the crypto world as a whole.

Mainly because these so called experts are skilled individuals in their own fields and are famous for that. Which is why a lot of people put their trust to these experts(those who know little to nothing about crypto currencies).

So, if these experts never stop saying all sorts of bullshit about bitcoins, then i think this will really be a problem. Because this may cause confusions to people looking into jumping in the crypto world. And may even make interested people turn a hundred and eighty degrees from bitclins and other crypto currencies.

Now if these continues to happen a lot, we can really expect slow progression in bitcoins. Worse case scenario may be stagnation of progress or even regression.

I beg to disagree. These FUD spreaders don't really touch Bitcoin anymore. With the recent all time high and the constant bashing, it's safe to assume that people simply don't believe them anymore. I would rather ignore them than give them more airtime.

They are really funny indeed. They look collective and calm and seems that they have a lot of expertise with the subject matter. But when this so called experts open their mouth, you can't help it but to laugh as their understanding. The world will not care about he is fool or not, it's just his 15 minutes (fame) about bitcoin. There's no need to react on that. As long as these people are in the news and they are telling their thoughts via the TV and youtube, a lot of people will listen to them and belive them. Only a really small % of the people will read about the subject and think about the real situation. As long as people belive everything that is shown on TV and on facebook, we can do nearly nothing against it. Maybe if people got educated about bitcoin it could change, but that's not the near future...
