I agree that an airdrop that accepts newbie needs to be disregarded and re-evaluated. As it's clear that countless users will create other accounts to take over threads with spam.

They're starting to transfer them, 2457 ebtc each.
They've only done 300 so far so we may be waiting a while.
If it ever reaches $5 per token that's $12,285.
There's going to be 19,950,000 ebtc right? So 19,950,000/2457 = 8,119.66 addresses. For that amount of participants I would have imagined a much larger thread, hundreds and hundreds of people discussing it. I'm afraid of shenanigans. A single user probably getting hundreds of emails and Ethereum addresses. It's just not adding up. Sounds like someone missed out on the airdrop.

This one didn't even require a bitcointalk account. Just an email and a Ethereum address. I think the dev should stop the air drop and do a do over requiring Bitcoin talk account with some more requirements. Because over 8,000 accounts just doesn't sound legit.

Yes, especially since it could be one person with thousands of emails.

Haha dude I have several tokens for which I hope it will ever reach $5. Maybe even 1, that would be fine. There's just so much of these and we're hunting for potential here. Didn't receive mine yet btw, but it seems we're at 2500 of the 8000 or so.

2 days is not much time to give for people to sign up for a airdrop. This thread was created on the 27th and the airdrop signup ended on the 29th, giving almost no time for anyone to signup for this airdrop. The fact that 8000 emails received the airdrop makes this project very suspicious.

A count of 8,000 is nothing. Wcex has around 600,000 and counting according to webpage statistics. Don't say it's nothing. Take the Howl airdrop. By the time the air drop was being distributed, it had like 40 pages, and the final number was around 628 participants. This is bad. because instead of you getting 20,000 ebtc or more, you're only getting 2,457, while another person is probably getting over 17,000 that would have belong to you.

I announced the project on September 18th. The airdrop sign up was open for 10 days before I created this ANN thread.

I just don't understand why users go around typing non-sense right and left. This airdrop was open for registration for (at least) more than one week. The fact this topic was only created two days ago doesn't mean nothing because it was created way after the registration was already up. I actually think 8,000 emails is a very small amount.
