There was another eBTC announcement on Monday.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2206556.0

Is it the same one?
If I have joined the airdrop by signing up on the website, do I need to do it again?

Yes it's the same one. Didn't see that Medracen posted that, beat me to it Smiley I'm the creator of eBTC so I suppose this is the official thread but it's fine to have two! Also, if you already signed up then no need to do it again.

I thought it would be simpler than bitcoint, although of course the price would be much cheaper, I would like to see further developments from this coin, especially more information on this, though I'm not sure this coin will be more popular than bitcoin
however, good luck

I did signup for the airdrop, and wish to receive my tokens soon.
However, how is this "The new bitcoin"? I see many tokens nowadays come without any new innovation from the dev team and im wondering what makes you think that your token is different from them.
Don't take me wrong, im just questioning the idea behind this. Are you going to use BTC's blockchain somehow in a way that it has not used on Ethereum before or what?
Also it's easy to claim your airdrop many times, so i think you should limit the airdrop for certain user accounts on bitcointalk. For example i could login to different VPN servers and claim the drop with different throwaway emails and ETH addresses, so you might want something more secure and fair as distribution.

Interesting - joined the airdrop. Good luck and all that. Let's hope eBTC is shortly the same price as BTC Cheesy

I doubt if this could happen, so many coins have not reached even half the price of Bitcoin, although there are a lot of new features being offered I still doubt if it is still possible, this is the reality Bitcoin is still the best and its hard for a coin or token to reach that height.

I like the comparison with the bitcoin but it seems a lot of the coin that used the name of bitcoin will have appeared. But there is no different with another altcoin as far as i understand about the project, But this will be a worth a little but still makes me interesting.

An airdrop that accepts newbie needs to be disregarded and re-evaluated! It's clear that countless users create other accounts to clamor and infest threads with SPAM and bulk requests! How can such a project be credible?

Though eBTC is newly coming but I think eBTC will get popularity in ISO because It has come with good features than others.
