I think you are from India as per your name. It may affect in small percent, however still the Bitcoin shows in rise. You should wait and see what will happen this is not a game its rely on time to time and no one knows the prediction.

will they ban the exchanger and their citizen for doing Bitcoin trade in their country ?
Yes,absolutely they will ban it for now and a few months later on.
what will happen with the market ?
Of course there will be another downward movement caused by them for a week and month.
after that price is slowly climbing to the peak when it was.
Will they ban it forever ?
No,they will not do it because they understand how it works and how it will be in the next few years later on,
it has not implemented yet in many country and has a lot of room to grow, which mean the price is not stable yet and can increase at any time.
the reason they did it to gain more coins to increase their financial economy.

Countries does not do anything to bitcoin. It is a independent medium which can do payment internationally with the less fees in any transaction with the various cost.
You can see the price chart now it is moving forward to touch the next peak value again. If it is been settled 4k USD also since that is good price to worht the bitcoin related projects.

I also believe that one of the reasons for China is that they fear if bitcoin is growing rapidly in the country. It could be that bitcoin replaces the local currency and destroys the conventional economic system. The decision of china will greatly affect the bitcoin price, I think that on September 30th there will be more panic for bitcoin users. It is feared that the price of bitcoin can go back down and of course this is not the hope we want. The only way is to be calm and tell everyone that do not sell bitcoins simultaneously. If this can be overcome then the price of bitcoin may stabilize and also rise above 4000 $.

we will still feel that for some reason, its still possible that whale will use that issue to make some dip again before the huge pumped to happen, everything will
be depend on how the people or the traders and investors will see the  impact of this closure, but as a believer I will just hold and treat this as my financial investment so in coming years it will bring me more money.

I do not think that China will close the exchanges completely. Most likely they will legitimize all this and the state will take it under control. Most likely until the new year, all of China's exchanges will open and bitcoin will then go to $ 6000

There is a higher possibility that they will going to pushes through the ban but strongly believed that it will not affect anymore to the bitcoin value because lot of people are already learned from the past especially the panic people. We are already have hard experiences of this ban including JP Morgan criticizing bitcoin so granting there is an affect will happen but this time in a very minimal margin.

It will give impact tot eh crypto but that will be not significant as the pboc announced to shutdown the exchange sites. But the ban was temporary. If we will be facing the date and i believe the bear market will come for the crypto.

I don't think that it will happen because if the government of china want to ban the ICOs like project then they already banned 2 weeks ago , and why they will give time to put the decision on pending . Here this is full indication cryptocurrency like ICOs can't not go for close .
Here another factor also exists , that population of the china is very big and if the cryptocurrency like things will banned that surely lots of numbers of the people will become jobless and that will result into financially the china growth back , so here china will take positive descion toward bitcoin.
And here if it happened that cryptocurrency get banned then i am 100% sure that the cryptocurrency market will get effect by this thing because most of the miners are from china .

nothing has changed yet!

the Chinese exchanges are still scheduled to be closed and they have even posted warnings to their users to withdraw if they like before the closure of their exchanges. there is no much news about what will happen next and how long will they stay closed. it may be like last time and only last a couple of months before they come back with a real license this time and work under regulations and we hopefully no longer see any issues with them again.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

or just an issue, the issue only causes the decline of bitcoin and will affect the altcoin. I hope it is just a talk and has no effect on all coins.

The problem is that Chinese population likes Bitcoin more than their own currency because the government's act on their currency. They may ban or may create a new currency of their own.

I think exchanges will indeed shut down at least fiat to crypto transactions will be cut down. Remember the Chinese gouvernment is very strickt about their announcements. But the effect on the marked won't be significent since measures about this news were already taken.

There's no article spreading abount unbanning the bitcoin exchange on there country but aslong as the bitcoins price are not affected on this closure event on that country I think those scenarios will be ok and price of bitcoins recovers already from that monster dump happen for those past week and maybe we could experience the real pump today.

I think this is just a temporary act of the Chinese government because they can not ban the Bitcoin, if China bans it all, it will surely have a very low market capitalization and be very difficult to recover.

I just read that it was postponed. The banning will be on October 14, 2017. If that is the case, get ready for take off because Bitcoin might pump this week or next week.  Grin Grin

Yeah china's government is definite to ban their local exchanges till 30th september.
The goveenment has already issued regulations to exchanges that they should not accept new deposits or registrations on their websites.
The reason why ban imposed exchanges are still live in chaina is only for serving withdrawals to their clients.

We can't really tell. They have taken a step back in their decision. So for sure if they might have a change of heart once they found out that their decision was not for the greater good of the Chinese community. And might suddenly make a U-turn again and allow the operations of their local exchanges. We have to wait and see how things pans out.

We can't really tell. They have taken a step back in their decision. So for sure if they might have a change in heart once they found out that their decision was not for the greater good of the Chinese community. And might suddenly make a U-turn again and allow the operations of their local exchanges. We have to wait and see how things pans out.

Steps back will be done if there are protest will be happen on it but if there's no appeal sent to the chinese government came to their fellow mens then I think the law will be implemented but lets hope that there's nothing serious will be happen if this sad government dominating will step up so that fall will not came again on bitcoins.

That just the matter of time, 2013 and 2015 already become the fact that they were not seriously to ban the crypto because their civilians will always be using it anywhere. That just like try to throw a lot of the money from their country to others. That's pretty strange. PBOC just played us into the game.

It is indeed they are ban bitcoin exchanges there (confirmed)  , but not with the bitcoin transaction itself.
So no wonder if recently the price of bitcoin getting higher even the closure date is near within a week.
It won't affect much to the price , as chinese bitcoin holder can still trade on an outside china exchange.

Apparently China is just scared that the whole scheme is going to go against their monetary policy and may end up not being able to control it once it spreads like virus. However, I do not see how this may pose much of a challenge since it seems to me that most Chinese traders are already finding an alternative with the Japanese trading system due to its rapid growth of recent.

There is no official announcement come from the chinese government so that we do not know yet. Maybe it is just a rumor which was created by chinese exchanges so that they can easily collect more bitcoin withour any problem. China is the biggest country in this industry and I believe that they have been playing an important role in the cryptocurrency market

Actually, I have not yet seen any official statement from the Chinese government about the ban on crypto currency or Bitcoin. Perhaps it is really raised the hype for a special fall of the crypto currency, so that larger whales out of more buy at a low price.

What kind of protest do the Chinese government needs? I think its very obvious that the bitcoin community there is very lively and alive because we have to admit that they brought bitcoin to the next level. And protest?  I don't think it's allowed inside Mainland China because they rule the country with iron fist. If they said that they are going to ban ICO and close exchange then their citizens can't do anything about it. Even the exchanges themselves just chose to voluntary closes its business. They have  their reasons for doing this act, but for sure the one that is going to suffer in the bitcoin community inside China.

There is 70% possibility that the Chinese government will shut down crypto currency exchanger operations in China this coming September 30th because the Chinese are well known for the uses of force to control something or protecting their national currency.

Not? I think you should look back at how things have gone in the past with Chinese garbage announcements. Yes, once they have reached their boiling point they slowly vanish, but they'll return - that's something we have experienced far too often to not take it seriously. As long as there are enough empty headed chickens selling their coins like mad every time China farts, they will keep repeating this and thus continue to buy up your discounted coins, and sell them back to you at far higher levels later. People for once should ignore China and understand that they no longer are the central crypto hotspot in Asia. Everything that happens in this market is pure market manipulation, people still have to figure this out.

I totally agree with you 100% and my thinking is that there's something behind the act of the Chinese government because it seems like they are doing this in other to cause dip in price of bitcoin so that Mr somebody could buy bitcoin when dip and he could have a huge profit after everything is settle. Nevertheless, they will resolve the issue and we bitcoiner have nothing to loose or need to panic sell.

Certtain manipulation is happening and actually we doesn't even know if this issue is true not unless if there is a chinese crypto trader than confirms this things, and by looking for today's  current price bitcoins is having a good time and the price is going back upwards again. But I feel that  there's something great will be happen so we should stake and stay tuned for this good events happening.

This looks like a scenario yet can be true as well. We still don't know what they're attempting to do. Maybe they want to create a hole in bitcoin so that they will buy from the dip side of it.

The current market cap of cryptocurrency already accounts for Chinese exchanges shutting down.  But crypto is bigger than any one government.  With decentralised exchanges popping up, people will be able to buy whatever they want.  If for some reason China makes a U-turn then that will only add a massive boost to the bull market we're just getting into at the moment.

Nope, it will not because on September 30 the price be on 4800$ - 4900$ again. China on banning ICO and bitcoin exchanges is now an old issue for it was already been in affect, So traders, investors and members are already preparing for that date to counter any effect on market price. We do have much more support without china that is politically correct.

Probably. I heard they are doing it in spite of North Korea as so many sellers of BTC were Chinese, but they just switched to localbitcoins which is the beauty of the Bitcoin network.

But the latest news appears about the korean alreayd banned the ico and i think that gives the more impact to the bitcoin too. But a lot of people are tried to move into another country. The government just a greedy people.

The Chinese government tries to ban outside non-censored internet, citizens with a little know how get around it easily.
You can't ban bitcoin. Banks could stop letting you use your own money to purchase bitcoins from places like Gemini or coinbase, but that still doesn't "ban" bitcoin. You can buy them from other people, withdraw cash from banks and localbitcoins.com
Your complete focus, before buying a satoshi, should be learning how to properly secure your bitcoins. Unless you want to invest in GBTC and pay a premium, it is imperative that you learn security before buying.

Of course, but only temporary. That's natural and also give us a good chance to take the right opportunity. The impact only about price action, but from this moment we can take some good decision about our strategy. Such as, buy back or cut loss to minimalism loss. I do not think that China will close the exchanges completely. Most likely they will legitimize all this and the state will take it under control. Most likely until the new year, all of China's exchanges will open and bitcoin will then go to $ 6000
I also still feel this is what China is after. Being able to control the exchanges so they can easily monitor all their operations. But who cares? Whether they want to control, ban, or monitor… Having lesser countries that do not want to partake at this early stage is even better. If they wish to join later when we are grounded, good for them!

The thing is we cannot just let one single country disorganize the whole system that has been built over the years. However, if all these seemed to be over after some months, which I am assuming right now, then china hits back again with their controlled exchanges in the market, then the high soar will be huge.

We have been hearing about this ban issues since the beginning of this months and if you have been following event from inception you will understand that the infect of the ban of exchangers on bitcoin pricing happened last two weeks. If you have risk capital then you could have bought when it fell to $3,000.

Yes China's government is really committed for what they said, the banning seems like is going to be a temporary and they will make regulation for the exchanger, I think the reasons are too many people used Bitcoin as their hidden assets, evade tax and doing money laundry with it, hopefully there won't be any big effect to bitcoin's price this time

Shocked will Chinese exchange platforms shutdown on 30 sep

In all honesty, I don't think Chinese will shut them down. They will just regulate. There is way too much liquidity in these markets and China doesn't like capital to flow out of the county.

Well, its been banned already including two largest cryptocurrency exchange platform OKcoin and huobi.com.

But, OKCoin's co-founder reunited the team and created Bibox.com to keep trading out of China market.

www.bibox.com. A great digital asset exchange platform that you shouldn't miss.

Their are chance for China to ban .Because they start to get fear about that the bitcoin will reach the peak and Replace their own currency. Due to this fear they stop to ban some of the trading done in China. But now bitcoin replace his own price. It now crossed the value of 4000$.
Honestly, if anyone wants to panic at this moment, their loss! It might draw us back but it sure won't stop some of us from buying at good price again. All I know for now is that even if it is going to ban a bit impactful, the impact will not be as bad as what we had the last time. Most people are beginning to realize that panicking will only make them to lose eventually rather than concentrating on the development of bitcoin with or without china.

The effect of this news has happened a few weeks ago, and if you look to the current price of Bitcoin it starts back to $ 4000 even today it's $ 4200.

I think the decision to shutdown the exchange in China is only temporary, because China regulator need to create regulations that protect their citizen.

What are the Chinese exchanges for Altcoin trading and Bitcoin? If banned effected is that possible that our funds would be collapsed? Currently my funds in Poloniex and Bittrex. So if anybody knows that are these two of exchanges is Chinese based then confirm me, so that i can withdraw my fund earlier. Also post here the list of Chinese based exchanges.

Right now, the prices seems to be going up. During the past 24 hours, the prices have increased by at least 5%. This may be due to the fact that there is no large-scale sell-off among the Chinese users. The users have simply moved their coins from exchange wallets to personal wallets.

Whatever effect it had it had last to last week only. The price of bitcoin dropped like crazy and this was becuase cryp lovers got crazy and panicked and they started to sell off their btc. Anyway what happens after tomorrow is completely new thing. There good be two things that might happen, first will be every dime of bitcoin will be washed out from the china and secondly government china might just publish new ways of regulated ICO leading to huge investment and pumped price of bitcoin. That's easy.

They are already closed and almost every exchange will be invalid after tomorrow onwards. I don't think any of them will stay online anymore unless and until the government of of china will be making any further decisions. If the China's regulation fit in just right then ICO might be overwhelmed and world will have great response towards the big investments. Then this could be new revolutionary way of investing and prices of ICO will be legitimately high. But who knows if the Chinese have decided to shut the program completely then that might be happening more. Nothing much will happen and we can see the market more stable and non fluctuating as china was use to be destabiliser according to my experience. At least that's not gonna happen now.

It will give impact tot eh crypto but that will be not significant as the pboc announced to shutdown the exchange sites. But the ban was temporary. If we will be facing the date and i believe the bear market will come for the crypto.
I don’t think so that China will commit such a mistake which China had made in the past by banning Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. In fact, China will happily invest in Bitcoin and will promote the use and investment of Bitcoin amongst their citizens. Moreover, China will take very much positive steps for making the best use of Bitcoin in his country.

I agree with you . China is a financial powerhouse and certainly will not miss this great market. If China has more strategies to help Bitcoin grow, then surely Bitcoin will be legalized in this country.

I though it is a manipulative and strategic way of China in making some value more advantageous on there side. They are clearly manipulating the market because they will soon create something similar to a crypto that can be called there own. China banned only those exchange that do not have a license yet, if some failed to comply with having one, then China will close it.

Bitcoin can never be banned in China, there are a lot of exchange in the internet and internet usage is not forbidden in that place.

China is certainly huge population of miner and trader, I think it will affect the market greatly, but it will not be detrimental to the future of bitcoin. Unless the allied country of China conduct a similar plan and action. They might have realize the risk that this crypto have imposed to the countries economic status.

I don't think such ban will not happen again and if it eventually happen, it will be on those exchange company that are not playing by the rule of their country which i think is hygienic for the success of bitcoin business in China.

Bitcoin exchanges in China ban will not affect Bitcoin market, because there are thousands of Bitcoin mining rigs from the whole world, which make new Bitcoins. Plus there are also thousands of BTC daily users from the whole world, so Bitcoin China exchanges ban can not affect whole Bitcoin market. Keep in the mind, that large part of BTC users & miners come from USA.  Grin

iCO's has been banned in China, but it is october 30th and there were going to be bad news about china and cryptos, but the price is only going up.. i dont know what is happening right now, it was like $4150 yesterday evening, and now it touched $4400 a few hours ago, i am very happy with seeing that the price is going up again, seriously, but i dont know what is really happening with China.

It doesn’t matters that what china is doing in his regions bitcoins are surviving without them and this is bitter for the Chinese they think bitcoin will be down without zero and it is up to 4500usd and this is not acceptable to them and they will feel sorry in future when the prices will be at 6000USD or more, so china should rethink about his decision.

I don’t believe that China will take action against bitcoin because China will face an unemployment issue in this case and it is not for the first time that China is angry on bitcoin. I hope nothing from China government side will be much hard towards bitcoin because Chinese will also protest against the government for their rights and their massive investment in bitcoin. I think China will finally take care of their citizens.

Unless you want to invest in GBTC and pay a premium, it is imperative that you learn security before buying.
yeah this may be some temporary news because as far as I know china is the biggest support for bitcoin. As it has the largest trading networks which deals in bitcoin. China will never ban bitcoin because it surely will damage the progress of the country as bitcoin is one of the sources for progress of china.

Yeah china's government is definite to ban their local exchanges till 30th september.
The goveenment has already issued regulations to exchanges that they should not accept new deposits or registrations on their websites.
The reason why ban imposed exchanges are still live in chaina is only for serving withdrawals to their clients.

Now i get it. I am also being curious towards the actions of Chinese governments upon banning cryptocurrency. For me it doesn't really makes sense that they will actually ban it permanently, and besides there are so many crypto users, traders and investors in that specific region and area, and still i was thinking that it wont be permanent ban.

I think China government will not unban Bitcoin exchange and ICO project in their country but as I know there are some exchanges in China is finding the way to get out of the ban by change their domain from ".cn" to ".com". In my opinion this case can affect to Bitcoin price but not all the time cause China is only a country has big Bitcoin trading volume so they can't make Bitcoin die or dissappear by ban Bitcoin or cryptocurrency exchange in their country.

Shocked will Chinese exchange platforms shutdown on 30 sep

Will it affect on cryptomarket

This is a great mystery actually. The way China’s plan of banning this Bitcoin has flopped in the past, I don’t think so that there still remains any reason due to which China will ban this usage of Bitcoin in his country in the future. But you never know what the future will bring for you. It is always unpredictable, anything can happen.

We have been hearing about this ban issues since the beginning of this months and if you have been following event from inception you will understand that the infect of the ban of exchangers on bitcoin pricing happened last two weeks. If you have risk capital then you could have bought when it fell to $3,000.
Exactly you are just right. We have been hearing these news from the start of this month and till now every other day there is a different news.

But don’t worry that wouldn’t matter even if they ban bitcoin completely. Reason are the people who are using it in every condition of their life because they know bitcoin can change their life.

Of course, the impact still exists, and it is still affecting the BTC. If the Chinese government continues to ban BTC in their country, the big impact will happen at any time.

A lot of Exchanges will move to Hongkong or Japan.
Overall it should not be worrying.
Maybe china Exchanges will come back online with some new KYC policies ...

Japan is legalizing bitcoin by heart. These banned exchanges can move to new countries, this is the fact.

All still can not be ascertained. I still have not seen any valid information about china's decision on digital eye including ICO's exchanges and project. if looking at it from the outside then china seems to hate bitcoin and try to slow the growth of bitcoin. but we do not know what is the purpose of china country, they could do this all for a special purpose. it might be like making a bitcoin price cheap and then they buy it. this will certainly make them get a huge profit when bitcoin prices increase again. I see there is a conspiracy that we can not close.

Most importantly China’s shit is over, bitcoin is doing great without China and I am happy to share it with all of you mates we got rid of Chinese manipulated market. However I feel sorry for the Chinese people who may have come across a hard time with all this crypto ban and stuff. I think we shouldn’t be talking anymore about the China whether they will allow again crypto into their country or not. Chinese people could access crypto even from their homes. They only need a VPN and I guess they are good at that.  Cheesy
The reasons may be different what they say and what actually the reason is? It is just a state policy and time will disclose this secret sooner or later.

It will definitely have an impact, not only on the day that it happened but also will impact future bitcoin outlook because of the fact that there are now significantly less ways for Chinese peoples to buy and trade bitcoin.

However, i would suspect that trading will continue, just in the form of p2p transactions. People in China are already using services like LBC to trade their fiat currencies for bitcoin and vice versa.

There shouldn't be any longstanding damage done by shutting down of these exchanges. In fact, most are probably going to just relocate to another place.

There is a chance China would lift the ban. They might be planning something big with this. Considerimg 70% of mines are in China.

China won't go with such plans of banning the entire exchanges. If that happens the impact over the digital currencies will be very big and importantly one thing need to be considered is the inflow of economy that China has got through bitcoin. They might regulate in a strict manner, but will never go with the banning.

Correct, we must prepare on what is going to happen next, we don't know what can China do to the cryptos, mostly they are the big whales in the market, some bitcoin drama so the people will sell their bitcoins because of panicking and they are the one who is going to be benefited by this. Just hold your bitcoin guys, let's hang to it, it is promising.

Well we have been sailing without China already so I think we are good already. Some of the exchanges have been close already. Last news I heard is that they are not totally banning exchanges, they just would like to see that they should apply permit before operating. So likely that they have been drafting rules and regulations before allowing them to be up once more. Just hold on your bitcoin and see what happens next.

I think China will not ban but only to regulate their exchanges to ensure that it will not be abused by some bad elements like the laundering issue. We will just wait again for the result of what will be the impact after the regulations but i believed the value of bitcoin and altcoin will not be affected because of our hard experiences learned during bitcoin banning in which many panic people are now regretting.

We can't say what would be the outcome on the price once china regulates those exchange and maybe it can give bad impact to the price just what happen before, But for this issue maybe the best thing to do is to bend the patience and understanding on all of us so we wouldn't be caught by bad jokes around.

China is too extreme today because they no longer want to talk about the rules, they forbid its citizens not to follow ICO and threaten to shut down many local markets, the latest news is china wants to really ban bitcoin, hope this is just a bad rumor and china begin to adapt coin like japan (J-coin), this is the best way to keep inflation.

China is not the house of bitcoin and it is already obvious that without them, bitcoin will still keep moving ahead. The traders are already finding alternatives and I believe they will realize in no time and find something to do to keep the train moving in their country. They do not have a choice, do they?

I heard a rumor saying that these exchanges will be shut down and they will be coming back with some regulations laid down by the Chinese government, now this might affect the market as it will ask users for their personal documents and a lot of people will be hesitate to do so. That might affect the markets,, but the chances are less.

Shocked will Chinese exchange platforms shutdown on 30 sep
Will it affect on cryptomarket
I heard a rumor saying that these exchanges will be shut down and they will be coming back with some regulations laid down by the Chinese government, now this might affect the market as it will ask users for their personal documents and a lot of people will be hesitate to do so. That might affect the markets,, but the chances are less.
Last news which is coming from China ;

Im sure that ctypto trading will return to China, but already in an updated, legalized version.
China occupied the leading positions in the mining and trading volume, it would be strange on their part to destroy all this.

This is not about banning bitcoin, it is about shutting down of the exchanges that took place in mid September or so which caused huge dump in the price of bitcoin. China never said they were banning bitcoin. However, I thought some people speculated that they will reopen and regulate some of these exchanges by 30th of September but until now, there has been no news yet regarding that. They haven't really come out yet since then to let us know their stand on this but as it is, the exchanges are still shut down.

The ban of China will not affect the price of bitcoin, everyone has already moved away from this panic and the price will again skyrocket. New falls are not excluded, but I think that already because of other bad news.

I agree with your opinion. China is not the reason for Bitcoin's decline because This market is heavily influenced by other nations, not China. I think China is just a small part of cryptocurrency

According to the latest news, the Chinese government will likely resume cryptocurrency trading in the upcoming months with necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems in place. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/china-will-likely-resume-cryptocurrency-trading-by-licensing-bitcoin-exchanges/

Just as expected they would really do such thing. They cant able to completely close exchanges since they know they can able to make money on that and now they are returning but on a regulated way which is somehow a good step by them.It will surely affect crpyto currency prices on this one. Thanks for the link by the way.

I doubt that they can shut all those down so the best thing for them to do is probably regulate the exchanges. China is a huge market for cryptocurrencies and they are so involved that it would be hard to stop it now. I think most Chinese would find ways to buy and hold cryptocurrencies anyway. We'll see what happens, but I don't think they will completely ban them.

There is a chance China would lift the ban. They might be planning something big with this. Considerimg 70% of mines are in China.
We all know this thing very well that China is not like other countries. In fact, China is one of the most developed countries and they know the worth of bitcoin very well. There will definitely be some reason behind banning of bitcoin in China. We can only wait to know the actual intention of China as far as bitcoin is concerned. China can ban it for little more longer.

I read a lot of information and news about China's involvement on cryptocurency. I read that they will just going to regulate cryptocurrency in their country but they will come back after it. Maybe they will just fix some sort of things and later on we can welcome again in the cryptocurrency.

They will definitely come. I am sure there is nothing in these news or it can be said these news were just to make FUDs. China wants to become super power, everyone knows. And in this era when many economists know better about the future of bitcoins. They know it well, for being super power, international economics is of a vital role. No chance for China to face against bitcoins.

Chinese are the sharp minded people and they know about the advantages of bitcoin and most probably by seeing the progress of bitcoin they will decide that to remove the ban and this will bring more pleasant air for the bitcoin investors in china and Chinese knew very well that bitcoin is the leading path which leads toward the economic stability and development.
