How in the hell can I get my USD out of MtGox?

You have to first link that checking account to gox. this will take a week minimum then if there is funds available it can take anywhere from 2days to 2 months to reach your account :/

The best thing to do is buy up coin on gox then sell them for cash or look me up on localbitcoins.com

I would suggest sending your BTC to coinbase, you will have to link your bank account but they are US based and VC funded (personally makes me less nervous).

I have used them for 1 transaction, went very smooth with no problems. I even sent the BTC after 3 days to myself with 0 transaction fee.

They use MtGox last price fyi.

Have you tried cashing out to OKPay?
I think you can transfer it to bank from there.
