As you can see (people who mine on flypool) as they announced on their twitter account https://twitter.com/etherchain_org

In order to provide a more efficient mining experience we have increased the default share difficult on the #Zcash pool to 16000

What was default before?Does it really helps to miners?

I was having like 5k shares per hour, now i have 2.5 shares per hour on pool.

Opinion?

From your shares it looks like it was 8000 before. It won't decrease your earning (your shares 'weight' is 2x more) and will help their servers with handling shares because it won't be flooded by some hi-end farms

I'm not flypool user, but too much share count may cause heavy load for pool servers. For miners, not affecting very much with profitability.
It seems like bringing more benefits for pool.

If you don't agree to their new terms you can opt to mine to another pool , Coinmine and Suprnova are some of the most respected pools in this industry. Personally I use Coinmine and although they often send me Orphaned shares meaning there is not a lot of efficiency still they work perfectly well for the payouts and everything else. Zcash is the golden standard in mining now especially with GTX 1060 3GB from Gainward who can make 300 sol/s same as 6GB with only little tweaks and overclocking.

They have done this before and in the end it doesn't really matter as your shares are worth more work. A pool share is simply a representation of your relative contribution to the pools effort in finding a block and allows a mechanism to proportionally reward your work when it finds a block. The actual value of this share is not really important as long as it is low enough to ensure you are able to mine a number of them in the time it takes the pool to find a block. I am sure they implemented it to address server load issues and since the difficulty of the Zcash network is increasing anyway there ultimately is no ill-effects.

For example, say before you got 1000 shares in the time it took the pool to find a block. Maybe everyone who contributed to that block mined a total of 1 million shares, so your reward is 1/1000 or 0.001 of the block (excluding pools fees for simplicity). Now they reduced the shares by making you mine at a higher difficulty, so now you only mine 500 shares in the time it takes the pool to find a block. Since this difficulty applies to everyone across the board, now the total shares earned during a block is 500,000, resulting in your proportion of the reward being the exact same of 1/1000.

Hi guys! I want to clarify about the mining program of Zcash is how consistently it works for you? I have all the time crashes and I can't figure out why, it seems that the power supply is in order and Windows. What's the matter?

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
