There doesn't seemed to be very many out there. Can someone recommend some really reputable ones?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Generally most smart contracts created now are ICOs, and are not based on Bitcoin scripting system but on Ethereum. So your question may not belong here.

However I can recommend several companies that do smart contract audits:

- Coinspect.com (mine)
- zeppelin.solutions
- Coinfabrik.com

Yes, there are not enough smart contract auditors to meet the demand. For anyone interested in smart contract security, check out www.aegissmartcontracts.com. We are building a platform that will enable smart contract authors to conduct reasonably priced triple audits (expert audits, automated audits and bounty program audits) and receive certification that shows their smart contract has been thoroughly audited for all known bugs and vulnerabilities. Download the whitepaper while you are on the site. We would love to hear your ideas on how we can make this project stellar.
