Question on liquidating in to UK bank

Hi,

Hoping to get some input from the community

Has anyone had experience of transferring proceeds excess of $100,000 of liquidated coins from an exchange like Kraken in to a UK bank account?

I know this is a peculiar question (and I am also checking with the bank) but the reason I ask here is a friend who has been involved in crypto for some time said the UK banks have closed accounts where they see transfers/deposits coming in from exchanges?
