I'm surprised there have not been a few U.S. shows yet. You could easily do a Jim Cramer type spinoff.

I've never heard of it, but I'm going to check it out on YouTube. CNBC is the finacial news network in the US, and having a show on cyrpto trading (even if it's on another continent) is a good sign that it's moving to the mainstream. I could see a half hour show being developed for North America if it is successful.

I don't think this program is popular. Most probably almost nobody has information about it. Please give us more details about it. Is there any link to past programs?
well according to their schedule the show is rebroadcast 3 times a week, thursday 18h30-19h00 UTC, saturday 12h30-13h00 and sunday 12h00-12h30 https://www.cnbcafrica.com/schedule/#not-set:crypto-trader

For everyone who wants to see the episodes they are available on Youtube - at least the most of the yet aired episodes. Here is the first episode for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKkiUgmdJEwI must confess I know about the series from this thread and I have watched two episodes over the last hour. I personally like it and the topics that are addressed and discussed in the format. Despite crypto currencies are global, I would like to see such tv formats also in other parts of the world. I added the Youtube channel to my favorites.

Yes I think they could air it instead of the Jimmy Fallon show for example. (Yes in Europe CNBC broadcasts it in the night...) But since cryptos have bad reputation in the financial world, maybe CNBC doesn't assume to provide this kind of stuff yet... i don't know

It's great to spread the word out to the entire world. These tv shows will be act like advertisement of bitcoin to the newcomers.

Introducing crypto world into mainstream media, and in fact CNBC which is a financial channel should have an very positive feedback and impact on market. Instances like this one may instrumental in like regulations and enforcement of cryptos into real world. Hopefully more programs like that we will be able to see soon in our own tv.

I bumped into this show some few days back and I was really amazed. If we keep having media dropping bitcoin in the limelight, it can really be a good one for crypto in general. I like the show, I like everything about it at least if not for anything but for the fact that no matter what, it promotes the blockchain technology. the only challenge is just that most people do not even know about this channel except for few traders and business men.

I never knew this and there is no crypto news site to discuss about it, many traders that I know come from the African continent so I think the event is reliable

Just goes to show how much I do not know about Bitcoin and its popularity in Africa. Even my supposedly technologically advanced country has no such show. Just a lot of business and banks and completely avoid talking about crypto. I wonder if any non English news networks are doing such things. Like Al Jazeera?
