hello,
do i need the 4g decoding activated on linux to run more then 6 gpu on my motherboard z270-A-Pro ? i have tried using 4g decoding on windows and the rig wouldn't boot so i'm wondring if its the same on linux?

if i turn it on the rig won't boot i only see a black screen any solution?

Yes, you have to enable it. Also try to disable fast boot and secure boot.
