A fascinating new website has recently surfaced that provides a creative way to address the blocksize dilemma. The website is blockbounties.info, and it acknowledges that bounties or prizes can be given to miners who mine blocks larger than 1mb.

-> So does this mean that bounty hunters are big miners who mine big blocks or those who catches online frauds and extortionists? Please advice. Thanks.

P.S. I am a newbie in bitcoin

Bounties can be anything depending on what the coin's team needed to be done. It can be creating a FAQ, a translation of the road map and whitepaper, some sort of advertising—literally anything to help the coin get a boost after being introduced. Anyone can obtain these bounties as long as they have the ability to do what is required, and it's not restricted to miners and private investigators.

Bounty hunting is really not so easy task. You need to join or make a group with the people working in blockchain. Share bounty if any one got information from the forum or google. If the group members share fairly you will get multiple chances of getting bounty.

"Bounty" is another word for "prize" or "reward".

A bounty can be offered for doing a task or accomplishing a goal. The site you are referring to is trying to encourage miners to mine bigger blocks by pay a bounty to those that do. Some businesses will pay a "bug bounty" to people that find a flaw in their software.

Typically in the U.S., people refer to a person that finds and captures bail jumpers as a "bounty hunter", but as you can see, there are are other kinds of bounties.

He does not have to be a big minor. He can be a person who's willing to post ads, translate or repost stuff in order to help marketing the coin. But keep that in mind, it is not a easy task.

Bounty hunters are those who get "bounties" (a.k.a. coins) for their work. This work could be writing a translation, managing a local board thread, sharing contents on social media, etc. Just go to the announcement threads of the company and you will find the bounties. Here is the subforum here on bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

Yes, everyone can be a bounty hunter. You just need to read the requirement for the bounty and start doing. It is easy and just need a little knowledge. You should search in google how many kind of bounty in the forum, and what bounty suit you the most. And then you should read the procedure to join that bounty then you must be patience, because you may join the bounty and you may not. Just keep posting and rank up your account, read a lot and make quality posts. Then the bounty will accept you.

Everyone can be, but if you want be good bounty hunter then it will take some time, you can't spam on forum, your posts must be related to the topic. The best if you have some groups (for example for FB/Twitter campaign etc.)

So if you want be really good bounty hunter I would say it's full time job.

Hi it means that you will either posts news about new projects on your FB/Twitter/Telegram etc (social media), or create blog or write some articles, do videos, translate topics/whitepapers etc, or easiest way put signature from new project (where you will need to do at least 10-15 posts in bitcoin talk forum to receive some tokens).
Just check how many nowe projects with bounties are here and check details what you need to do to receive some tokens https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

In my opinion Bounty Hunter means search and find best opportunities to earn as much as possible.

I`ve never took part in bounty but saw a lovely project at last. I don't even care what reward i would get, I want just to support this amazing concept and professional young team. But I prefer to be able to make a reasonable expert decision in the future. So, as  my choice was quite intuite,  I'd like to know how you guys find the best offers for bounty. What are the key reasons to make the decision?

Actually, if you want to be a bounty hunter. Check out the coins you do support, and get things done for them. Why? Well it is a win-win situation since you will get the bounty u want, and you add value to the coin u invested in. This will basically benefit you in two ways instead of just the bounties.

Good luck btw Smiley

Yeah all we have to do is to rank up our rank, especially if we want to join in signature campaign, as i reaf they accept only a jr. Member but don't worry guys we are allowed to join a social media campaign.
