It really depends on which alt coins we are talking about. There are some doing very good today.

Depends on the coin, but most of the alt coin only good to be keep as a short term investment, and the value will gradually go down, but if your coin on top 10 or top 15 then perhaps its good idea to keep, for alt coin you need to be flexible, observe the situation and make a quick move
