how many days does it take for the money to move from my bank account into Coinbase? Is there a way to follow it?

It will depend upon from which country you are sending deposits

For US citizens

The ACH bank transfer system typically takes 3-5 business days* (which may be as many as 7-10 calendar days, depending on the timing of weekends and other bank holidays) to complete after initiating a purchase.

For EU citizens

Deposits to your EUR Wallet using SEPA transfers can take up to 2-3 business days to complete.

How to track it? Well, by checking your account to see if the transfer arrived or not. Or by asking the sending bank to do a trace of the transaction if it is taking unusually long for the transfer to arrive. Other than these two options, there is no other way. There is no database where you can check or track an ACH or SWIFT transaction. The one and only way is to ask the sending bank to trace it. They can do that but there might be a small fee.

It really depends on where you are located and what method you are depositing by but as others have said, it usually takes to 3-5 days. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later. There is no real exact value that can be given, since it highly depends on how quick the banks process the transaction.

For credit card payments, it should be instant.

Same thing with PayPal. As long as you are verified.
