Only 1 thing that i think, the scammers are around the comunity. That is the main problem. If no scammers, i think we can solve other problem if there is other problem.

When something happens online, hacks, scams, and all sorts of fraudulent people roam around. It's our responsibility to be on the safe side without getting caught into such traps. Not every ico is a scam, so it's upon our attitude of segregating the good and bad. That's why there are 3 kinds of ICOs: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2243157

i believe someone said the same thing, but less scam accusations would be great. like, if something is really a scam, it should be called out, but saying "xxx might be a scam - what do you think?" and seeing that every day or two is just ridiculous.

Problem is no one believes in crypto anymore. Sure people praise their holdings till it rises and then they dump it. But no one really believes in decentralisation they would invest in the most centralized coin that enslaves the world forever if they could make a good ROI.
Basically desperate pajeets have ruined crypto. Ignore all of them as they all own 1% of crypto but make 99% of the noise.

constraints arise there must be. but the obstacle I experienced was. when discussing cryptocurrency sometimes there is one-way conversation. so between topic and discussion is not uniform. Sometimes not a solution that should be difficult.

As stated in the title, what do you think is the biggest problem in the Crypto Community?
In my opinion, the current crypto-community problems are from those people of the community whose do not have enough knowledge to competence so they must be guided to right path to make them useful in the community.

Too much greed rather than looking into what will actually work.

^This... and too much focus on unbacked, 100% pre-mined promises (read: ICOs) instead of helping actual proven coins getting into mainstream.

There are many problems in the crypto landscape, but most of them come down to greed, questionable motives and impatience.
- crypto investors are unwilling to invest their expertise in building up emerging blockchains. Its all about getting coins onto exchanges and dumping them as quickly as possible - too many projects that are flat out scams with developers forking old coins with no value proposition other than a big pre-mine for themselves - use cases for crypto coins are often an after thought, no one cares even in Slack channels with hundreds of members

The coins that are trying to scam people usually show their flaws on day 1.

I think spam and mindless comments are problems that should be taken seriously. It is one of the reasons why the forum does not bring much more users, and it's also the reason why many users that were already here have gone.

In my opinion, the problem is the lack of legit and good services.
In its path to become a global currency, Bitcoin is giving to people opportunities to create real businesses, and I see very few taking advantage of it.

Can you guys think of what the next FAD will be after 99% of these ICOs have suckered people out of their bitcoin? What is the next moneymaker for scammers?
Most of my profit has been in ICOs. They are terrific way to increase your assets. 99% is strangely high number too. Without ICO's development and competition would stagnate. either you got burned by an ICO or are just saying things without any knowledge of what is actually going on. This, is what I think is wrong with the current crypto community. They proclaim all kinds of ideas, advice, strategies that are not backed up by anything at all. Inevitably, the bubble will pop because all of this new money gets moved around in risky, misinformed ways. I wish the community would go back to focusing on a decentralized future rather than just trying to become a quick millionare.

One of the biggest problem in my opinion seems a complete obsession with getting profits, we see people that say that bitcoin is dead just because it has not gone up in value in a month an that is ridiculous, also a problem is a lack of patience and to me that damages the community.

Biggest issue right now is that people jump into crypto for quick money or expect their initial investment goes 2x 3x 4x ... in the short term. Lack of understanding the technology behind of every projects are the root cause. Any investor should educate themselves in advance before contributing money into projects.

Overall, I like the community since people know what they're talking about. The only thing I'd like to see a bit less is threads asking 'what is the best investment' or 'next x1000 coin'. The people that write those threads should do some research themselves and not rely on other people to tell them what coins they should invest in.

Scammers are big problem of the community as well, a scammer trying to get 20 dollars o something is annoying but you can ignore it, but as time has passed the scams are becoming bigger and bigger to the point there are many icos that are nothing but an elaborated scam.
