I still prefer Beatles for Old Songs.
Fall Out Boy in their early albums.
New Found Glory for continuous great songs.

But still, any genre of music is good because it's music.

Im also a pop-punk band enthusiast.

You should.
They are pure energy.
I saw them live last June here in Italy when they played with Green Day.
Amazing performance!

Red Hot Chili Peppers the best band of all times. I love listening to their music, have to admit I love older songs a bit more than newer ones. They are interesting not only to listen also to watch Flea is my favorite. H.I.M also a bit harder sound.

Wow, I like Tool a lot,... In certain moments.
I've seen The Editors in concert and was mesmerized, obsessed over them for weeks afterwards.
The National are nice. Massive Attack are brilliant! And how about Garbage?
Really, there can't be just one answer 😊

But one band that did get mainstream traction, and whose music holds up really well, is Rollins Band.
I understand that Rollins Band can be a bit of an acquired taste for some. The band’s jazz-inflected noodling is certainly not the most accessible thing in the world. But it's the logical progression of what Black Flag was doing at the end. Rollins Band weren’t the world’s greatest songwriters, but they were a group of truly impressive musicians. If anything, the group is less about the Rollins and more about the Band.
To wit: Chris Haskett, Rollins Band guitarist from 1986 to 1997, has also played with David Bowie. Bassist Andrew Weiss, who played with the Band from '87 to '92, is a Grammy-winning producer with credits including Akron/Family and Helios Creed. Both he and drummer Sim Cain played in the original version of Ween’s expanded live band, as well as Greg Ginn’s Gone, an instrumental, post-Flag project. The J. Geils Band recruited Cain for their 1999 reunion tour. Second bassist Melvin Gibbs has played with everyone from John Zorn to Femi Kuti.

Best band of all time would be The Beatles ofcourse, I think Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground are also one of the best.

I think of the last decade Bon Iver is the only rock/pop/indie band that blew my mind, the others just seem mediocre.

I always enjoyed Weezer's tone and beat on their songs. Calm and relaxing yet sometimes they could also be uplifting in ways. My favorite song of their is Beverly Hills, no surprises there  Grin
