you can't. MEW doesn't offer that. If you're on a site that says you can it is a scam !!

i think my etherwallet is safe because so far i use, i am not having a problem and i can send the tokens to the exchanges. but i am worried about the gas for the fee because i think it will increase soon. as long as we save our private keys into safe place, i think we don't have to afraid that our account is hijacked by someone else.

Till now I have never seen any 2fa in MEW. I think the site you are looking is a fake site so don't send any tokens to it. When you google it there are many phishing websites about the MEW, so be careful choosing the exact address of MEW.

If you save your keychain file on a remote place and don't fall for phishing attempts and/or get hacked and someone steals your private key MEW is safe.

It is as safe as it can be. You only need to be on the lookout if trying to login on their wallet. The best thing is to store the private key elsewhere and just setup their browser extension, that way you only need to log on using your password and you would never have to take your private key out anymore.

just make sure its myetherwallet.com and not myetherwallet.con
Lol, takes balls to have he clue in the name! I agree, MEW is a reliable online wallet. That said, the best safety is achieved by creating (encrypted) paper wallets of your private keys and storing them somewhere safe. Lots of tutorials out there.

Yes myetherwallet is safe. Your coins are store in the block chain not in myetherwallet. It is just a platform for you to access your wallet. Just beware of phishing websites.

If you have your private key and .dat wallet file your wallet will be safe for sure. I haven't tried myether wallet yet so I cannot able to give critics or praises about them. I have heard in this section mostly positive feedback about this wallet and jaxx wallet which are can use to save the ETH coins. Still I am using coinbase itself to save my eth coins.

I was always wondering what could happen if myetherwallet.com website get hacked... so it's better to have the coins on a desktop wallet, instead of a web wallet? It's a question because I a little bit afraid of web based wallets
Theres nothing to worry on using Myetherwallet since it is really safe as long you didnt expose off your private keys.I cant think off on the site would be hacked but still they cant able to steal up your wallet since you do have your key.Dont bother or worried too much on this stuff because most people say on here that it is completely safe just be responsible on how you do keep those important informations safe from anyone. As being said be careful also on the phishing sites which are similar into MEW if you arent to careful then you would end up on putting up your keys on a wrong website which would cause for you to be hacked.

It's a safe website you can trust but there are few websites trying to hack people's wallets by trying to like the original website . Therefor you need to check url before you make any move on that website.

You are right this is possible, if someone or a group can make some changes on the code of website they may steal a lot of private keys but that must be very difficult. Mew owners are not stupid.

Myetherwallet is tottaly safe . Because you only know what is your private key. But make sure that your private key did not find hacker because if hacker see your private key for sure he open your account and they withdraw the coin that you have. Always be careful always check your coin everyday if necessary to prevent losing. Keep away from the link that you see dont click it because they have possibility those link when you click they get information.

MyEtherWallet itself if safe, but watchout for phishing sites that look like MEW. There are more and more scammers who ask for your private keys/wants you to login through their phishing slack, so be sure to pay attention, especially on slack channels.
This is why you should always access the website through your favorites that way you know you are accessing the true site, typing may seem like the right choice but if you make a mistake while typing it you could access a mirror site ready to steal your ETH and all your tokens, some people prefer to look at it in Google but I have seen that some scammers are willing to spend some dollars and publish text ads so if you access through the ads you could end in a mirror site once again.

I think our safety is in our own hands. We should think that everytime that website can be hacked or our account can be hacked. I am also using that site as my ETH wallet and I am also afraid that it might be hacked so I did not hold a lot of ETH on that site I transferred almost of my ETH to my another wallet as BTC and I am sure that it is safe. Also, when I am using myetherwallet.com, I always check the LLC on the url because it is a sign that I am in a right site. Prevention is better than cure so we should prevent that our account might hacked and our coins might lost.
