Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Might not even be profitable right now depending on your electricity cost.
How much do you pay per kWh? This is the main variable we need to answer your questions.

Hey, there are multiple factors that you need to keep in mind before having bought any miners. You need to know your kWh costs for electricity, which miners have the best price to quality ratio, research into air cooling systems, find out which coin is the most profitable to mine at this very moment.

the s-7  is 4.7th

5 = 23.5th

bitcoinwisdom  says around   .1607 btc

that is about  668 usd.

next question is power cost

you will use  6 kwatts  an hour

that is 4320 kwatts in a month

at 10 cents the bill =  432 dollars

or a 256 net for the first month

at 5 cents  the bill = 216 dollars

or a 452 net for the first month

I am not really into mining but being in Bitcoin this topic always crop up anywhere when we talk about cryptocurrency. I understand that the main reason why there are many miners who based in China is because of the cheap electricity rate they are paying making the operation really profitable. Now, electricity cost is the most critical, as of now. Probably, in the next few years though there would be new equipment that can consume less power (am waiting for this!).

yeah the cost is 7 cents per kilo
what do u think about the d3 how can I get some and how long is it gonna stay profitable ?
and if I want to spend 20k on this investment is it better to diversify like use gpus rig so that I don't use value  or just use ASIC ?
and can I solo mine with this kind of investment or do I need more ?
thanks for your answer

I can't answer questions about the D3, and really should be taken over to an Alt-Coind discussion forum. This specific forum is intended for BTC only. It also strays pretty far afield from the s7 question originally proposed.
