Who will take the initiative to become the voice and take on the role of being the chosen representative of BTC?

The People.

The people who use Bitcoin are the voice and representation of Bitcoin. One of the fundamental principles of Bitcoin is decentralization of control. This literally means that no one person or entity owns, controls, represents, or directs Bitcoin's future. If that's what you're looking for you can engage yourself in the main fiat currencies, each of which is controlled by a single central bank.

oh i see, by this information, ive learn from it, now i know the things that always coming out in my mind, thanks to OP who created this topic and answered by our members here at our forum. although i want to create a topic like this which i didnt do and decide to search only to gather/learned from reading from those useful threads and topics to be found the answer which has no information like this. so we all bitcoin holders/users are the voice/representative of bitcoin right?

Who cares, Bitcoin has been out here for almost 5 years and never had to be represented. It's interesting enough without someone having to represent the Bitcoin.

Well, Satoshi represented it for a little while. His disappearance did not have any significant effects on the price though, so that kinda confirms that we don't need any representatives.

We don't need anyone to represent us especially one figure if anything it should be the community which represents us.

Nothing and we don't need that.

Do you know the difference between fiat currency and bitcoin? If you don't know yet, then you have to read more about it. But if you already know, then there is nothing to ask. If bitcoin has a person / group as a controller, so what's the difference of bitcoin with fiat currency?
But if that happens, it would be better to trade with fiat currency only.

It's a widely accepted theory that Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared for that sole reason, so as not to be seen as a Bitcoin leadership figure

They are right Bitcoin doesnt need someone or any people to be a representative of it. But maybe you can call us or the other people continuing giving support and hopes in Bitcoins as a representative. Because we also present to other people and other nation and to the whole world how good is Bitcoin and how much profit we gain from it and we also showing them how Bitcoin change our life.

For mainstream acceptance and adoption, cryptocurrencies do need to have some higher profile, media friendly people who can talk about it to the public and politicians.  Its cant be one person because the nature of scene and its global reach, but some group or body should form, who are independent from commercial interests of individual coins.

Bitcoin don't need a representative, it is a decentralized currency not controlled by anyone, and that's one of its best features.

Bitcoin's community is in fact its real representative.

As far as i am concern it doesn't need to be controlled by someone or somebody, it also doesn't need to have any representatives, and i surely believe most of us would agree with, and besides it will lose the purpose and use of bitcoin if it does happen. One more thing it wont have any difference with the other fiat currencies if that will be implemented.

Nobody needs to take this role, the people will decide as we have done previously on all things bitcoin, it needs to remain as one of those illusive things like air Smiley

Bitcoin doesn't need a representative because its decentralized already meaning no one is owning it and no one can represent it. I think all users of bitcoin are considered as representatives only if they are advertising it to other people so that many will be using it (I think).

I think Bitcoin does not need representation, because bitcoin is a decentralized currency so it can not be controlled by anyone, and that is one of its best concepts

Bitcoin does not require representation, but it still requires people to hold some important role in bitcoin. As with bitcoin policy, handling when bitcoin collapses in order to stabilize again.

Hi,

Maybe the initial developpers can appear as the "face" of bitcoin in order to spread the idea to the vast majority of people.
But nobody will "represent" the bitcoin in itself, ever.

Anyway, bitcoin is rather an idea, a concept, than a concrete thing!

bitcoin does not require a savior. You have to know if bitcoin can not be controlled by anyone, including the government. All has gone decentralized on blockchain. It's complete, we just use it and introduce it to the community. Because bitcoin runs through communities, not individuals

The whole point of bitcoin is to be decentralized meaning one body does not rule, control, or represent it. Although it does put up a good point in terms of legislation and such.

I thinks bitcoin just not need a representative being a voice of cryptocurrency because it is decentralized and cannot controlled by one person if there's a problem occur, because bitcoin is volatile and unpredictable its market value and even we put some CEO representave in bitcoin he cannot  solve the problem in times there is dump situation.

I second the motion. Bitcoin is made not to be centralized on someone. The purpose of bitcoin is to be decentralized.
