in my opinion the antminer series is not really worth the price for cheaper you can build a rig that has equivalent or better power and when the device does eventually become obsolete you can actually use it for other things like machine learning or gaming.

Well i've already have 3x rigs (2 based on RX for ethash and 1x on gtx 1080 for Hush mining) i just want  to pay energybill by antminer D3 thats all i need from it :p

The Ant d3 has dropped from earning $100 a day to $30 a day in the last 10 days it very risky
in november it will be $10 a day forget it unless its $500 with a psu

1450$ for a D3 , 30$/day still less than a 2 months ROI around 7 weeks as of today 9-30-2017
If you can make 15$/day the roi still going to be less than 14 weeks (3.5 months)
If you can make 10$/day the roi is around 5 months
i would say that is still great ROI time
