I think the ripple would be a bad choice. Ripple is one of the big capcoin market capitals, it ranks third in coinmarketcap, it is used in many transactions, everyday it has a huge trading volume, this shows the ripple potential. Although the ripple is still limited because it is controlled, however, I believe in the future it will grow and have a high price.

instead of the price of the single token in my opinion you should look at the total capitalization, it's useless buying coin with huge capitalization and think they will go to 1$ only because they cost just few cents, look for example at the fomo for Tron some months ago, the people that bought at 0,30 where not very smart for me. said that i suggest you to take a look at universa, it is very cheap and has a great roadmap in the next months

electroneum and seth into coins that have a price below $ 1 and potentially good for investment, I read if the coins seth now is very good to serve as one of the good investment coins.

Does anyone here have an opinion of altoins that are under $1 that are worth investing?  Because the lower it is, the more X amount you can.

For example if a coin is 10 cents and say you buy 10000 of them, thats 1000 USD.  If this coin goes up to 1 dollar, that is 10x your money or 10000.  Now if it goes up to 10 dollars, that would be 100x. 

Buying something based only on its price is not a good investment strategy at all. This is mistake committed in Equity Market by new investors, when they start accumulating scrips of cheap price and these cheap price scrips rarely rise. As already mentioned in this post by few members,  focus on market cap along with total coins in circulation before you invest in any coin.

if a coin is worth 10cents , but it's air . we don't have to invest in it . we need to study the total amount of coins , the team , the funding of the project , reasibility of the project .

Tron is the most potential coin in terms of asset and market capitalization and most capable coin to touch 1 dollar in price

If you are looking for good profit in the future you must first look at the MarketCap and Total number of coins. A coin with large coin supply (billions) can't grow very much in the future, not even 1$.
My choice: Masari.
It's a Monero fork, good relationshionship with Monero, only 18.5 millions total coin supply and it's still early, only 4000 sats on SouthXchange and Tradeogre.
If you count that Masari uses a weighted harmonic mean difficulty adjustment algorithm for smoother difficulty adjustment, which has been PR'd back to Monero you already have a kick-ass coin. I think the potential coin is not base on what it's cheap price but it is base on what the platforms that can serve crypto and outside. The effective coins is not be seen on its price but it is the development of actual project. The resources of success is upon those who trust and will support. Then profit will follow.
