Given the overall situation in the cryptocurrency market, investing in altcoins today is extremely risky. I would wait out these hard times and then think about investments.

If a good research is done and the right choice is applied, it is very likely that such developments can be experienced in middle or long term after investing.

Does anyone here have an opinion of altoins that are under $1 that are worth investing?  Because the lower it is, the more X amount you can.

My opinion is that altcoins under $1 are under $1 for a reason, and that is because either A) they are close to useless or B) they have too much supply. Although their reasons differ, it is very risky to invest in these types of coins as any change in value can also prove to be very bad for you.

Low value coins can earn you good or burn you good. Invest in them only if you are willing to lose your investment. Otherwise, invest in stabler coins like Ethereum.

I'm not going to push my luck and get good returns with coins that has less than $1 in current value.

I have seen projects that held good in their ICO and produced their token under $1 before getting listed to different exchanges and after few months  they became two digits. But in the current state, it's better to trust those coins that are already established though they are not cheap.

You should buy coins with a small market capitalization!
This is the key to success.
I conducted a personal analysis of the market and projects, I like the most:

1 ) Spectrecoin (XSPEC) - Very promising! - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4937123.0  Wink

Recent publications:

2 ) Phore (PHR) - https://coinmarketcap.com/ru/currencies/phore/ Wink

3 ) NIX and Zoin (ZOI)

the first time I do when I want to find altcoin under $1 is by visiting coinmarketcap and choose the $1 altcoin to see on the first page. so after I see a bunch of lists, I choose 100 altcoins and then select 50 altcoins and reduce the list until I see 10 altcoins that can profit in a long time. I am sure that you can find it too with what I did and I hope that you can choose more than 5 coins to buy and hold it for a long-term. but make sure that the coins have a good project and can survive in the hard situation like today.

Some people are already posted about Spectrecoin (XSPEC)

But my view on this is that

In order to win the arms race with 1890 other crypto projects

a project must have USP (unique selling proposition)

More beneficial for the initial investor is to get entered in such a project at a very low mcap for maximum potential gains (penny stocks)

One of those super undervalued projects is Spectrecoin

Do your own research to understand why, but main reason is a possibility of staking while staying completely anonymous receiving anonymous stakes - new Stealth Staking algo or Proof-of-Stealth

P.S.
And btw it has alread been hitting ATH of 5-6 dollars per coin
So now is the time if anything

Most of All top privacy coin - use PoW echnology!
That why I choose XSPEC! Very young project  with great prospects!
Pos v3.
Stealth Staking 1Q 2019.
Proof-of-Stealth in Future.

I’m another that’s bullish on Spectrecoin (xspec). Even if it reaches its previous ATH I still think it’s undervalued for the tech it has to offer

It seems to me that there are quite a few different projects that are working on improving the block chain. In turn, we must understand that not all these projects will be in demand in society and will have real practical use.

The correct point of view, but there is one thing, it is called the right to privacy. I believe that we are waiting for the demand for coins of privacy, they are the equivalent of cash which is also private. In crypto, many miss this moment by attention, but in vain... XSPEC is a Prime example of a privacy coin at the request of the user. It is also a fully working product, which means public recognition and therefore growth is inevitable. Good luck in your search!

I've seen previous mentions about Spectrecoin, Xspec and I agree that it's the most interesting low cap coin under a dollar right now and it's one that I've placed my biggest bet on. It's previous ATH was $6.00 and currently as of now it's sitting at .29 so crazy undervalued. The team behind the coin recently restructured, released a new whitepaper, and has been making huge development strides. As far as I know it has the biggest potential gains for 2019. Second larger cap coins that I believe in under a dollar are Cardano, ADA and Banca, Banca.  Good luck investing.

The reason why the price value of a token is less than 1$ is because they have a huge amount of supply. You can manage to observe how it works when you're always visiting etherscan. I used to be a spectator of every tokens that becomes popular and check the project if they'll bloom.

That's why it's better to burn the token leftovers to control and manage the circulation of the token than giving it to those participants and they'll dump it. As you can see there are good projects during the ICO, they manage to reach million of dollars but after many months, the project has come to an end because of dumpers.

It’s true that those currencies whose price is less than one dollar are indeed likely to rise by a large margin. If there is interest, there will be risks, and generally it will be equal, risks always follow rewards. All in all, so the investment should be cautious.

I think there are some altcoins whose prices are under $ 1, in coin market cap there are many altcoins that are under $ 1, I think from some altcoins that cost under $ 1 it is very difficult to guess which altcoin whose prices will jump dramatically, guessing the price of altcoins is complicated and makes upset because our predictions are often wrong, we can only collect data and hope that someday the altcoins we buy can soar high, I think it's good if you try Tron, Eos and ADA Cardano.

i do not think so. i will study the project itself before investing in it. if a coin costs $100, it has a total of only one million. then its total market value is small. if it is a quality project, i will invest in it.
