Ok.  So i'm gonna be pissed if this is delayed.  There are so many other things I could be doing than refreshing a page.

Then go do them.

And possibly miss a reopening and the opportunities that come with early access?   I am not willing to risk my money like that.  This is absurd.  I made plans based on the deadline they specified. They keep missing it.  I keep having to avoid doing other fun things (or sleeping) because i'm not sure if MtGox is going to open up while I'm asleep.

I paid 70 bucks to get an earlier flight home because I would have missed it otherwise.  Yesterday I skipped the fucking banquet at the end of the fucking conference I was at.  It is costing me a lot to be here.

I don't know man, I always catch an earlier flight home if I can.  I hate being away and making lame money doing it.  Then again I don't get commissions for what I do and maybe you do.

maybe you should buy an ipad?! Wink
can you get to MtGox.com from an iPad?!?!

Nope. And you can't get to MtGox.com from a Mac either. Or a Linux box. Or a Windows PC. Or an Android phone.

This is why we're all fucking hopping mad. Smiley

Couldn't pay $5 for wifi at the hotel?
I think he was trying to say he would not have wifi in-flight.

[Update June 24 - 02:56 GMT] Pushing until 15:00 GMT.
We have found that balances on some older accounts look significantly incorrect when compared with the old database. At this time we do not know what caused the balances to be off, or how many of the older accounts are affected. We haven't touched the old backend or database, so we're going to import the accounts again once we have found what caused the off-balances.

No money is lost, we still have the records of all transactions that happened prior to the bitcoin sell-off. All funds deposited are still in our bank accounts, and we're going to try and get this resolved by 15:00 GMT.

We look forward to getting everyone trading within an hour of getting users logged in and accessing their accounts.

Fun Fact: MTGox derives from its original acronym usage - "Magic: The Gathering Online Exchange"

How many people just face palmed after they searched it and found out it was true?

No money is lost...

No money is lost?
MSM reports over $9 Million stolen:

More than $9m of online currency was stolen in weekend attack on Bitcoin currency exchange...
^^^
Don't think more than $9Million is correct, but they did report it.
