Many people today are greedy for money. And do everything to it. And I do not blame them because we really want our lives to make money so we will not get tired of working 5 to 8 hours and give our children a bright future. But with so much greed we can do bad things like schemes to conjure up true and not thieves. But the ultimate goal is to steal. Many really are not punished. Now my question is how can this be solved? How can we identify someone if bitcoins are not centralized and only bitcoins address only what we know. How to stop it. How do we know who is behind the investment that eventually turned thief of our hard-earned money

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Easy. Don't give in to "investment" sites. Since 99.9% of them are just bullshit anyway, and is only made to steal from you. You want to invest? Simple. Hold your bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, keep them extra secure, and just be patient. If everything goes right, chances are, the prices will rise.

Never invest any single dime to any site that promises to pay back some interest on your invested amount. They are all scams and those should be avoided at any cost. You will receive interest for few days, but eventually they will run away with a bigger chunk of your invested amount. So never invest anything in any website that promises a return on your investment. These are known as ponzi scams. Remember, there is no short cut to make money. You have to work for it. Join a signature campaign or start with trading. These are good ways to earn money. You have to put in your time with that and you will be rewarded suitably. Don't fall for any ponzi sites. |

The simple truth to this is greediness. The ones promoting such site and the ones investing, are rule by their selfish interest of greed and they know that someone somewhere will always want the easiest way to get the maximum reward, then they play on that attitude which most times is always successful whether they will be caught or not, is a risk they are willing to gamble. The solution to stopping that, is simply by understanding that there is no free money anywhere. |

Always keep in mind that if it is "too good to be true", you should stay away from it. The only solution that I'm seeing here is to be knowledgeable in what you're trying to do and never be gullible especially in the cryptoworld. We can stop this if there will be no one who will give money to this scam sites/groups. If they are offering some profit which you think is too good to be true in the current situation that we have right now in cryptoworld, just leave it and never look back. Be very vigilant in anything that involves sending BTC/money to "investment" sites. If you want change, you should start with yourself.

There is no need for us to know who are behind this schemes but what we can do is to avoid investing in sites that are most probably are scam. If we stop investing on them, eventually they will find other ways to earn since no one support them. The problem with some people is that they continue to support this kind of scheme even though they knew that it is just a scam. I just hate those people posting in social media about a new investment site that let you earn money in just a short amount if time and they totally knew it is a scam because they will state that it is still new so most probably they will pay at first but how about those newbies that just entered this kind of investment. They will lose their investment because of some people who are selfish to promote those scam sites. |

People behind that schemes are too smart dude, they use different name different information so people and the government cannot trace where they are. And you're right their main goal is to steal so better stay away from them. |

you can not really stop this. generations could not stop it. there has always been scammers who want to rob others to make money, even back in the stone ages they robbed other caves with their weapons (being big spears and stones)  this is really not limited to bitcoin. all you can do is to learn how to protect yourself. use your brain, research, ask others if you could not figure it out. it is really not that complicated either. |

We cannot find out bro cuase all of the investment site is the same like the legit investment site which is also promising that your money will be multiply. To avoid them i suggest to spend more to time checking the investment site if it has a good feedback from crowds or good comment before you invest cause every investment site is to risky to know if its not scammer or it didn't have intension to run your money. Dont easily fall make some review first. Or instead of investing in any investment site try to invest in ICO investment site which is classified and legit. Best regards

It is very difficult to find out unless you know that person directly. I do not prefer such sites because personally I feel that its better I invest where I want to and sell whenever I wish to with the things under my control rather than giving my money to unknown people or unknown sites especially when they are not in my country.

I guess you should have check the main thread of the investment campaign together with the ICO project signature campaigns and check those trusted managers handling the project. That will really help you determine the legitimacy of the people behind the investment scheme, which you can really determine the main intentions that might be bad or good for us. |

This is just for those desperate people that doesn't want to fight fair with the survival of life. They tend to stay with the lazy way of stealing others money. Knowing what are the intention of these people are very easy on these days, never believe to those words about "xxx % return / interest" for a day or even an hour. It's too good to be true, if that is just a ponzi scheme and doesn't have any proof of work or proof of evidence that your money is being invested into a trading platform or other type of legit investments, you are being scammed. |

There is no way to scam you with bitcoin unless you cooperate. You must help the scammer.
Satoshi created "trust-less money". You don't need to know the counter-party and can trade with them even if they are untrustworthy.
Remember, YOU ARE THE HEAD of SECURITY. Trade ONLY at registered legal businesses in your country. ALWAYS use escrow when buying from or selling to anything but a licensed business. Don't "invest" in anything unless they provide a business licenses and s business plan to your LAWYER. If you don't have a lawyer then you are not ready for this.
If you are talking about alt-coins and ICO's, well... those are almost always scams. Don't trade alts until you absolutely understand bitcoin. At which point you wont want alts.

From the way it seems, its unfortunate that there is nothing we can do about it because people from time immemorial have been scamming others and this will continue into the future even with the advent of technology to stop it, they always find a way to exploit every means to achieve their selfish interest. However, I wont blame them alone, but the calibre of their victims which majority are ruled by their intention to get large from giving little or nothing at all. While some have been blamed on innocence but its still connected to being greedy. How do one explain almost 50% profit in a space of one month and still expects that the money will come? The onus is on us to keep ourselves safe from individuals that have sworn to prey on the hardworking guys of their hard earned money. |

Bitcoin is not centralized, so there is no even a little opportunity for justest and bitcoin police is still not created, so if you have a trouble that's the end, no one going to help you. That's the biggest problem of crypto-currencies.
I don't know how to realise the scam. On my mind comes only "read good and try". What other recommendations could be?

Don't waste your time and money to care and invest in these kind of websites cause it's too dangerous and you can lose all your money soon. Now I'm very tired of invitation from my friends to join some HYIP site such as biconnect or WCX.....although they're just newbie in cryptocurrency world but they don't believe me when I told them to not invest in this kind of website cause they can lose all their money. Beside I've joined for years but they still don't care about what I said so I stopped wasting my time to warn them.

You may see many investment option when surfing online on several sites related to BTC. There are many banners with 1%, 2%, 3% profit daily, this kind of thing. Some days after you see there is another banner, with the same offers, but it's a different site.
I believe all these site's owners are the same guys, going out and coming back. It's not impossible to find who they are, but a common internet user doesn't have the skills to do this, what means the common investor of Ponzi schemes have no way to know who these guys are, so they feel free to continue running their schemes without fear to be caught.
But if someday they lure a big guy, there is a high chance they will be hunted until the end and will regret about scamming others on the internet...
