It is unfortunate thing what happened but this kind of risk always remain high as long as smart contracts are still new things. They will surely take preventive measure in collaboration with exchanges to halt deposits/withdrawals and try to minimize the losses. Everything recovers in the end but it takes double efforts to build the trust again.

What a fail. $PRL creator wallet called the transferDirector function giving himself admin rights. New «owner» opened ICO sale function on contract Sent ETH to contract and got PRL tokens at ICO price. Sent them to Kucoin crashed the price and probably ruined the project. https://twitter.com/MacnBTC/status/1056985997706182657I don't know what measures should be taken in order to give chance to this project. Investors lost confidence with this hack.  |

This allowed the new director to re-open the ICO for PRL and re-issue new tokens (1 ETH = 5000 PRL / .04 per PRL). The individual in question then sent these tokens (upwards of 3M PRL) to KuCoin where the tokens were market sold. I also read this update such huge drop was very shocking but good news is that dev took timely action on this incident and tried to save this from further collapse. Such incidents have long history and not stopping nowhere at the moment. If team can handle the situation as they described in update over the situation the recovery is still possible. Investors are angry surely but they understand the position of team and hard work can undo this damage in time. There should be no trust but verify with double check policy for funding related matters.

This act of minting new tokens what did for marketing and publicity nothing could so far. They will over come the situation as solutions exist for every problem. Those are active in telegram have clear their minds already as Oyster team actives very responsibly. It be over soon and people will not even remember this unpleasant event. They are determined to continue and to deliver as good developers are working on the project.
