Long term, Lisk or Stratis?

I started  with the thought  that when Blockchain will  be  more ''mainstream''  everyone  would love to build  their own Apps  on it ,  just like today they  do  for the  play store


So  as seen that  many app-developers  know C  language and java script  language, the choise  obviously goes to  Stratis or Lisk as  a platform in which  developing  their apps, cause they  both  offers  a  SDK platform


I suppose  you have to pay some kind of  fee  to start developing apps  ( for example  1  Stratis to use  the platform.... 1 Lisk  to use the platform...)  

Correct me if  I am wrong about  this, please, my  knowledge  about it  is low


If  it's so,  now  the  choise is elementary.... which one  will be used  the most?  Javascript or  C language?

From this  will depend  the choise  about  the coin you want to invest: Stratis or  Lisk  will be  the most used?


So  I decided to look  at the  weakness  of  the two  projects, and I find  that  Stratis  is  Bitcoin-blockchain related,   with all problems  about scalability, fees,

While it is secure to some extend, it scales as bad as in Bitcoin. In term of security, a Ethereum's DAO incident can happen in Stratis: a single database for all. No isolation. Bad code in bad apps can cause issues in mainchain, having bad impact to the whole ecosystem.

   LISK allows developers to store data onto their own database (sidechain), LISK mainchain or other database (other sidechains) when possible, making scaling and security much easier and less costly.

When evaluating blockchain platforms like LISK or Stratis, I focus on scaling and security first. Scalability of a platform enables it a viable development environment for thousands or hundred of thousands apps in the future.

In short, nothing is set in stone at the moment until I see the first LISK SDK.

So after  some researches  I am still undecided  which one to pick ... can you help me  to decide plese?


Stratis  is  a  well known  platform, but  also Lisk  operate ON ITS OWN  SIDECHAIN and  could  have bigger  ROOM  to  grown....   What  are your  considerations?


C language VS  JAVA SCRIPT..... (unless  also Stratis  will let the developers  use  JAVASCRIPT on its platform)

And  what  about  scalability problems  of  a related bitcoin core blockchain?  

Better Lisk in your opinion?

I think that both are making speculative predictions about their potential but neither has really brought any cutting edge applications under their platform. So up to this point it's all bullish speculation. Be cautious when investing.

Stratis for sure in the long term but I invested in both coins because lisk is as good as stratis but stratis can be in top 5 in the long term. I don't think lisk can be so.

Actually I personally like to buy more altcoins for long holding.

I prefer to invest in these two as they are having a great potential coin. Because the more you invest in altcoins and you choose to hold is a better choice also but ofcourse depends on the coin. Yes better to do some research which is worth investing.

Good analysis in terms of the underlying technology building both Lisk and Stratis. However, you can only retrieve clues about their long-term values as workable tech, rather than long term predictive estimates of their actual price.

We would like to think that the two are inter related. I guess to some extent they are. But unfortunately, this is not always true to the possible extent. For that reason, I cannot differentiate Lisk from Stratis.

I hold both since it is very hard to know which will outperform in future. Both should go up
nicely into double digits by next year so just hodl and wait.

Personally I hold both. But I bought some Lisk today because I smell some massive manipulation by whales that is goin on there at the moment. Rebranding + SDK release should happen in some weeks so people should be in accumulating mode but instead the price is steadily decreasing and has reached the level it was after the China FUD.

I think whales are accumulation right now and you will see a sudden swing in price soon. And people gonna be like "how did't I know that rebranding was comming", "how didn't I know about the SDK release" whale bussiness as usual...

I will spread the money in to both of thia coin. These two coin has its own character and technologies and feature. But the compoaition would be 60% lisk 40% stratis. Becaus stratis already up 500x ico price. And lisk is on its way to rebrand. Sometimes when coin succeed at rebranding it will explode.

I feel like stratis was and is better than lisk in terms of community support. Lisk investors are profit seekers. Also Stratis focuses more on businesses which is very very important.

both of them are really cool coins and i really prefer both but if i have to choose one over other i will prefer lisk over stratis. there vare many prediction about lisk in the future and it will be next moon of watch. lisk has such a great team behind it and we have seen the price of it rise from the day it begin and we can predict its future.

Both of the coins are good and have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Personally I prefer Lisk but that's due to the dev team and that can be a subjective subject.

As a side note I also think Waves is a great long term hold, you get free Tokens each month for leasing them out and their road map looks very very promising.
