hi was wondering if gpu's where the fastest way to mine xmr, or if cpu;s with high core count like 6c/12t  if they would performe nearly as well?

From my experience with CPU mining, one can expect 30 - 50 H/S per core.

gpu, is far the best even with cryptonight algo , just play with your oc settings to squeeze some juice from it
