20% will be held to stake the network and keep it stable.
If you stake with 3 million coins, will it prevent others from winning stakes? I'm not sure how PoS is calculated. Coinbase maturity @ 100 + 1 block in a row would be very tough, then forks happen & the only way to keep a stable coin (anyone remember that one from 2013, still going I think?) is to keep the staking weight balanced between many nodes  // just my 2 sat o lites, which I don't normally post my time stamped thoughts & just keep to myself over the many years  |

coins received, thanks as I understand it now you need to keep your wallet open POS mining?  Yes, you can only get a POS block if your wallet is open to the network and unlocked to staking. However, if you close your wallet, when you open it up again, your weight will still have accumulated. You just miss out on the "compounding" effect. |
