If you don't have a bitcoinstake.conf file, you can create one.  Create a text document, and save it as "bitcoinstake.conf", in the respective folder above.

Save.
Restart BitcoinStake Wallet.

Instructions From Bitcointalk member:

1. You must download the wallet, open it and then close it.
2. Go to your %appdata% folder (just type %appdata% into the Windows Explorer address bar).
2. Create file called bitcoinstake.conf
4. Open the bitcoinstake.conf file with Notepad and copy&paste the nodes (nodes are in the first post) into the file.
5. Again start the wallet and wait for it to be synced.

I had to download the Linux wallet because Win-qt wallet gave some strange error upon opening. Then it was deleted by my antivirus software (probably a false positive though).

Also tried to download from ZeroNet link but the file was missing? (the ZeroNet page worked fine but the Windows download pointed to a broken link)

Linux wallet worked flawlessly.

Good initiate to distribute the coin. I just hope that people will stake this coins and earn POS rather than dump on exchanges like most people. Good to see the rise in POS coins and bounty programs. This give a chance for the newbies to enter crypto world and start earing some free coins and at the same time understand the POS mechanism.
