Cardano certainly has a lot of upside. Being an early mover on PoS is a good start.

Ada is a good project that worth holding by any crypto investor but I think you guys need more marketing and hype for the project . I think a community based and influencer based marketing will go long way in letting many people to know more about thus project.
It seems like they really are avoiding the hype route and emphasizing the tech. Charles Hoskinson does his surprise AMA's frequently but the typical crypto investor probably isn't interested because he doesn't talk price and speculation. I think they are doing the slow, organic build intentionally.

Cardano does have a good future and this provides a safer and more flexible update. A pretty good position at CMC and this presents many challenges to being able to increase position and value.

Cardano is a decentralized, blockchain based system, powered by the ADA coin, the cryptocurrency which runs on the Cardano platform. Much like Ethereum, it is a smart contract-based system and can be used to run Decentralized Apps (called DApps). But Cardano is a layered system; i.e.
It has a separate layer which runs ADA exchange, and A separate one which runs the Smart Contracts. Cardano claims to be the first cryptocurrency which runs on a scientific peer review, which ensures its safety.
The aim of this project is to create a sustainable ecosystem which separates transaction of ADA coin and usage of smart contracts into different layers, and on improves the shortcomings of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Cardano is an attractive choice for many companies and corporations, especially those involving heavy uses of contracts. According to Cointelegraph, the Ethiopian Government and Cardano/ADA signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which will allow the government to employ the Cardano program in its Agritech sector.

I consider the Cardano project to be one of the main competitors of the ethereum platform. I really like the way the project teams work. I'm waiting for the next global platform update - Shelley. This update should happen in Q1 of this year.
