I dont know about you folks, but after these relentless delays and unkept promises, I am pulling every singe USD and BTC I have out of Mt.Gox the minute it opens. I was patient during the whole fiasco and I wanted to keep using them, but as they keep delaying the process more and more, I find myself loosing my patience. I would speculate there to be a mass exodus once they open up. Last person out, please close and lock the door behind you

I was in the middle of intercourse when I saw it was 2:55 GMT. I quickly pulled out went to Mtgox.com to check to see if it was open and my hardon went soft right there. I could not get up again either. I think Mtgox gave me ED. I swear if I do not get a woody again and mtgox does not come online I will still have a means to sue them in court.

Well, it does not make anybody happy. However, I guess we would all be even less happy if MtGox would go live, but the balances would be incorrect, right? I was pretty reluctant when they announced the first re-launch date - after an incident of such magnitude cleaning the mess takes some time...

Taking time != eating my sleeping time three times in a very busy week for nothing. When one announces an exact re-launch time, everything should be ready to run -- delays should normally be announced > 12 hours in advance. Anything else is cheap hacker mentality. IT stuff can't be handled the "put it online when the content is finished" way unless you're a top-class modern programmer -- and those are self-critical enough to use buffer time anyways. I really want to take this professionally, and if I see my funds again I will stay calm and nice... but it is undeniably annoying. At least the next planned re-opening time has the sun up over here. Not that I didn't have other plans for that moment. But at least it's not "be online with trading machine at 5am" again.

well for me, the time they open doesnt really matter, as I wont be doing any trading with them what-so-ever. I will simply login, send my BTC to Tradehill, then withdraw my USD to Dwolla. Then its sayonara MtGox!

well, sorry to hear how upset you guys are! it's understandable, and your points are correct. but... we live in an imperfect world, bitcoin is new, mtgox (and the other exchanges) are what they are etc.
however, here's one piece of advice (uncalled for, apologies!): if you cannot play the markets without loosing sleep and getting angry to the point where your coronaries will suffer, maybe you shouldn't be doing it... sound sleep is an invaluable assets. and... you can't buy it with bitcoins or any other currency...

GMT and UTC are the same thing. I think you are thinking of BST In Britain it is now 15:50, but GMT is 14:50 read this: London Time is the same as Greenwich Mean Time less than half of the year. During Daylight Saving Time, London Time is GMT+1, also known as British Summer Time (BST). There's gonna be a mad rush of people trying to access their account in the next hour or 2. I really wouldn't bother, unless you desperately need to.

I stand corrected.
It seems to be open now. At least I'm getting a homepage, but it's predictably very slow.

Chucksta, I like Bitcoi7's GUI too. Unfortunately, my funds are stuck with them for a few days now. Apologies are nice, cash even better Any suggestions?
