Why Ethereum around 300 while Bitcoin had recovered to 4400

I have noticing that Ethereum is stagnant between 290 - 300 . While Bitcoin had sureged 500 upwards in last 10 days.

I do not see any momentum evenethough there are so many tokens are using ethereum tokens  ERC20 platform for their ICO and listing.

Cause bitcoin is: more popular, has more uses, more people use it, is longer on the market and is generally more common.

Ethereum is also very popular altcoin but the main difference comes in the total supply of both coins. Eth is in tremendous amount while bitcoin is available in a scarce amount. Also, it cannot be denied that it has biggest community in the crypto coins world. Due to these two factors, its price is just shooting up at an amazing speed while eth can make slow progress even with a huge demand.

One because BTC and Ethereum mostly have a negative correlation to eachother, again alot of people are waiting to see how the next hard fork will go, because if it goes south it will be a major blow for the price and remember miners are not happy about this because it reduced their power and also believe if or not some hackers have a plan for this hardfork

Eth now w8ing on hardfork, if hardfork go without anny issues then price will skyrocket.
I estimate prce around 1000$ till end of year. Even maybe 2000$ in best case scenario.

China never tried to kill the crypto currencies ever but its actions has very bad impact on all of them. However, it is not China exactly due to which bitcoin is making progress while altcoins are all stucked at one place. Bitcoin has a very large community which members are increasing with every day while it supply is a limited one rather a small one as compare to eth. That is why bitcoin makes fast progress.

Ethereum never had any relationship with the bitcoin but i just think about the hype of the ethereum harfork and a lot of the people think will be issued the new hardfork token as ethereum classic and that can be determined as another free money for them all.

I think we shouldn't compare Bitcoin and Ethereum though both seems like a competition between which coin will be more successful in the future. Although I do like both of these coins, maybe Ethereum is just right where it wants to be. It still hadn't reach a new highest price since I think 3 months ago when it reached 0.1 now it is steady at around 0.06-0.08.

The Thing is that Ethereum is used for ICOs and many bought Ethereum to push their ICOs and so the Ethereum prices got higher and higher, maybe it will rise again maybe not its nor a currency or what maybe it is good maybe not nobody knows in this time

Well price has reached the $311 level, something we haven't seen in a few weeks.  I think price is building up because of the incoming hard fork.  Best time to buy eth now, might be too late after the fork.

I also see even the bitcoin price increase and its now 4400 dollars the price of ethereum will not decrease. Because before if bitcoin price decrease or increase the ethereum also same it will happen of what happen in bitcoin price. I dont know why now its difference any new about that. I hope ethereum will increase again I hope it will reach 1000 dollars each ethereum before end of this year..

Ethereum has goes too high. It is time to taking some rest and re fueling before skyrocket again, i think etheruem will be mooning after the success hardfork. My prediction ethereum will reach all new time high arrounr $1000 - $1100 the end of this year or q1 2018. But bitcoin will be at $10000

Ethereum isn't going up in price because whatever people buy up to participate in ICOs will pretty much immediately get dumped by the people who run the ICOs. And since that is the only real use case for Ethereum right now, the prices aren't really moving anywhere.

there's still a lot of people saying that fake USDT on bitfinex is keeping BTC artificially high.  all this stuff is subject to manipulation.  don't read too much into the price.

There is no true answer for that question. These two coins have their own dynamics and their own uses. It wouldn’t be right to expect them rise or fall in the same amount like twins.

Maybe because you can't just simply ask why ?
Bitcoin is different than ethereum. How are you just asking "WHY" its price didn't rise by the same amount bitcoin did ?

Well, because they're two "kind of" separate markets. Bitcoin's price is affected by a lot of things from trading, rumors, huge investments etc. etc. but all the other altcoins solely gain price from bitcoin's value (and trading but you know I feel they're just followers.)

I don't even know why you're complaining. Ethereum's price is not bad at all now.
For example if you check on March 28 you'll find that:

1 btc= $1033
1 eth= $50


It might be not as good as some weeks back but if you has invested early you would have surely made huge profits out of it.

lol ETH has such a massive stake and market in the crypto world, its not going to die over time - if anything it should continue to gain value over time as more apps and projects are made on ETH

think about all the ERC20 tokens which rely on ETH
