Any news about Tezos? I bought some and just interested how is it going. Do you think that it will be a successful project?

Why don't ask them on their website? A lot of money went there. Maybe they answer something I didn't invest there because I was a noob at it, but I heard about this project.

I recall the tezos founder gave a tech talk at a London meet up a few weeks ago, perhaps check out on youtube as there might be a recording there. It's huge ambition what they are trying to achieve, I think it's probably even at an even earlier stage than EOS. These are the grand project for the future, if it does take off then you will get a great return.

It's just about finished and they are nearing a release. They have been working on it since 2014. They have a functioning Alphanet that I'm already 'staking' on. The smart contracts already work etc...

Tezos is not in any way a copy/paste of ethereum.

I think Tezos was so hyped up, but considering the amount of funds they collected it's really difficult for them to be unsuccessful.

I actually thought the opposite, unless you just mean based on how much it raised. I think a lot of that was from rich private investors. I think Tezos said it best recently, "A large subset of the projects conducting fundraisers (sometimes called "ICOs") today are based on little more than a white paper and will remain in a development phase for years. "

It's true, real projects take YEARS of development work. Tezos was in development in 2014 but in order for them to actually have a project unlike 99% of the garbage ICO's we've seen recently they had to spend years with a lot of highly qualified developers solving actual problems.

It might take a while but eventually folks are going to catch on to the fact that products take a long time to develop. If there haven't been years of talks, conferences, discussions etc.. then you probably just gave a bunch of people money to people for nothing...

In that way, Tezos was not 'overly hyped' it was just one of the only actual projects with actual work done.

There is an "unofficial" trading of tezos on hitbtc. Is there the real price? 2 usd per tezos. Because if it is the real price it is 4 times higher than the ICO price.

They're effectively trading futures, not the market itself.  What the real market will do when the tokens are distributed is hard to say.

I'm definitely interested to see what happens when they do go live though.  hard to say if it crashes from everyone selling or holds and rises.

Got some bad news for you dude, they already had their ICO. It raised 9 figures.

As for news, I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're in quiet mode while they focus on the task at hand. When you start hearing more noise about Tezos, it means they're getting close to launch.

In the meantime, check their subreddit.

Btw, do you know what will happen with Bitcoin cash they have? The fork happened after their ICO and they've got some extra money

I bought a few Tezos in the ICO launch and am looking for a place to give decent information on how the project is progressing. Since the ICO it has been very quiet and just a case of wait for the wallet to launch so you can access your tokens. Little frustrating 

Not scam, but you must understand that now they have conducted the proceedings, which had a negative effect on the course of coins. Be careful, and maybe this coin will be "to the moon" after listining on exchanges in 2018

I think I have lost a part of my investment. Tezos will not sky rocket anywhere. Everyone who wanted to buy, have bought it already. And nowadays nobody will invest into a project with lawsuits when it will be on exchanges.
