It seems that I forgot that super secure password I made up - or maybe there is some other issue as I had two accounts.

I find the wording of this poll funny: "I appear to have lost nothing", like it's some kind of wonder if you have all your funds untouched. The prevalent premise seems to be that you're goxed unless proven otherwise!  Wink

Would the "I appear to have lost something" voters please let us know the specifics? Are you saying that your balance is wrong just because you had rolled back trades (like the majority of us) or that your balance doesn't match what it was before the flash-crash?

A lot of people will think they have lost something, eventhough they have not. Simply because they cannot remember the exact ammount.
It would not surprise me if 95.01% of the, I appear to have lost something, are probably wrong.

Yeah - me too.  They should definitively add a password recovery link there.

At most my balance is off 10-15$, if it is at all. I am not 100% sure, since I did not jot down the exact figure.

But it's the proximity. No wrong IP logins for the last 5 weeks. BTC amount exactly as I remembered it.

If you can't copy/paste your own password properly, then I don't know.

Re-paste it to a visible/readable place first and MAKE SURE THERE IS NO EXTRA WHITESPACE ANYWHERE. Yes, I am looking at you, mouse only users.

Then it should work.

Ho-Hum.

I'm still not active yet  Angry

I never used my account. I gave them my IP address, my Dwola ID, and my zero balance as soon as the site came up.

I would like to do some trading when they come back up but looks like I will have to make a new account cause the $!@#$%^& will not activate my account. No email yet either.  Huh

My friend cant login either, so its definitely a problem on their side. If they go live, and many people cant login, even though they got accepted, im going to laugh my ass out! It will be a BIGGGGGG FAIL!!!!

Make sure to also check your SPAM folders. The second MtGox email ended up in there for me.

You only get notification that your claim is being updated, not the result. The result you get by clicking the links pointing at the claim.mtgox.com site in the email itself.

I still say the passwords work if you copied them down exactly as you provided them to the claims form.

If your claim was not accepted, obviously the login won't work. You must be accepted first.

Ho-Hum.

Yes, i know, i was accepted, i received the email and clicked the link and it says accepted.
I tried my login name, with both my old password and the one i provided to mtgox.
Which one is it?
Either way, none works, nor does my friends.

I have $0.00529 less than expected and ฿0.003 more than expected. Must be due to some mistyping on my part when I did the last trade. No extraneous logins.

Everything looks ok.

Finally got to check my balance... There is no balance listed with mine at all.  I had over 100 BTC in there before the crash.  Hope they put that back!

Am i the only one who cant access my account?
Im sure im inserting username and password correctly!

I was unable to login on my first few attempts and I was sure I was using the correct details username and password. Then I remembered when I entered my new password on the account recovery page, I typed the password into notepad and then copied and pasted it into the boxes instead of typing it (because I couldn't be bothered typing it twice). So I tried copying and pasting the password in the box and I was able to login.
