Hello,

(initial) token/coin offers are popular.

Coins tokens represent in most cases nothing (lol). It's just (or at least it tries to be...) an alternative currency.
In some cases the tokens represent something. Like a (profit)share/ownership/vote/... in a business or organisation.

My question:

Is it thinkable to have a successful token/coin-sale for an offline business?
I mean like ICO's do now. They (in most cases) just pitch an idea with a white paper, team presentation, roadmap,...

Can I raise ±3 Mio in ETH, BTC,.. to start an offline business and share profit with backers?

Thoughts?
