The Atlas Cryptocurrency was created to provide financial freedom, safety, anonymity, protecting privacy, for a better future for all the inhabitants of the earth and for offer to charitable causes and organizations.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

FAQ Answers to the most asked questions.

SEE HERE

Mine your first Atlas PoW block

Download the Atlas wallet from here and run setup.

First create a config file and save it as atlas.conf in one of the following locations.

Operating System   Default Yourcoin datadir   Typical path to configuration file
Windows Vista, 7, 8 & 8.1, 10    %APPDATA%\atlas\   C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\atlas\atlas.conf
Windows XP    %APPDATA%\atlas\   C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\atlas\atlas.conf
Linux   $HOME/.atlas/   /home/username/.atlas/atlas.conf
Example config.

rpcuser=rpc_atlas
rpcpassword=049f961b6f79e2ace188ed04c
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
listen=1
server=1
addnode=45.55.83.96

Then open your wallet, and make sure you are connected to another wallet.

You are connected if you see the icon    in the lower right corner of your wallet.

The message “No block source available” will disappear once you mine your first block.

Please follow the FAQ instructions under My coin is out of sync if you don’t see this icon.

Go to Help.
Click Debug Window.
This is the console where you will execute all commands.

Type this command to start mining your first block:

setgenerate true -1

If you want to use a specific number of CPU cores, instead of -1, type the number of cores.

To stop the miner, type:

setgenerate false

You can then type the following to see the status of generation:

getmininginfo

It will take about +/- 10 minutes to mine your first block, depending on your computer hardware.

Windows firewall is blocking my Atlas

Windows firewall will show a warning when your wallet is started for the first time.
Please check both checkboxes and click on “Allow Access”.

Cannot start Atlas Wallet in Windows

Windows SmartScreen is a new feature in Windows 8 to help protect users from running unverified software downloaded from the internet.
It’s a nice feature but it sometimes blocks our generated wallets.

You need to perform the following steps to start the wallet.

1. Right click the wallet (exe) and select “Properties”.
2. Select “Unblock”.
3. You can now start the wallet (exe).

Cannot start Atlas Wallet in Linux

You need to install the following dependencies to start your wallet in Linux.

apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libdb-dev libdb++-dev libboost-all-dev git libssl1.0.0-dbg
apt-get install libdb-dev libdb++-dev libboost-all-dev libminiupnpc-dev libminiupnpc-dev libevent-dev libcrypto++-dev libgmp3-dev libqtgui4
