Hey i want 10 I am 90% sure but What wallet will let me send a private signature I have my Bitcoin-qt updating now but it's only at like 60%  any other wallets i can xfer my btc too that lets me send a signature? |

Hey i want 10 I am 90% sure but What wallet will let me send a private signature I have my Bitcoin-qt updating now but it's only at like 60% any other wallets i can xfer my btc too that lets me send a signature? you don't need to send a signature as part of the transaction... you need to send me a SIGNED MESSAGE with an address that you sent bitcoins from. there's 22 hours to go, your QT wallet should download in time. |

I used Coinbase to send funds and now can't send a signed message using bitcoin wallet as i don't have the private key for the sending address. Is there a work around?
Good to know since I just transferred from my bank. I will transfer to a blockchain account or BitcoinQT then make payment. |

Only send payments from an address you control (i.e. you can sign with it). If you send from MtGox or other exchanges, you risk loosing your funds since you can't prove you sent them. Please send from a wallet you can sign a message with. You will send your shipping address via this method.
 I can send back, then you can send to your qt wallet and re-order. will you get it back into your coinbase account? anyone know if this will work? |

I'm afraid to take that chance. Might forever be lost. Coinbase has a comment section but not signed so i have no idea what their sending address is. I was able to get the transaction hash but the sending address i guess is theirs.
I'm guessing if you use Bitcoin wallet you own the sending and receiving addresses?
"snipped" I mailed them and response was pretty quick. Help page has contact by mail on right upper page. Yes on owning the addresses... |
