I have a ztex that I cannot get drivers to work with, windows keeps installing it as unknown device which is signed and verified...The Libusb program brings up an error when trying to write driver for it?

Has anyone had this issue? is it just a bad board? all of the lights are green

uninstall the driver disconnect the device and reinstall. had a similar issue while installing cuda drivers a while back. i don't know much about ztex but a google search brought this page http://www.ztex.de/firmware-kit/

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

Try a different cable. How are you providing power? Are you sure it's getting enough? Swap everything out with one of your working units.

You also might try grabbing software from this page and making sure you have proper firmware loaded: http://www.ztex.de/btcminer/

I had a similar problem with my Ztex on the Raspi. I reloaded the firmware while the Ztex was connected to a windows machine and then connected it to the Raspi again. Problem was solved.
So reload the firmware like the previous poster suggests and it will probably be solved.

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0
