please suggest me a good ethereum wallet

I want to invest in Ethereum, I'm already determined. What I'll do is put maybe 10K to 15K(pesos) on it and just let it sit there for maybe 5 years. I'm fine whether I get profit or lose them all(if the value depreciates). But what I want to be sure is the credibility of the wallet of my choice. I don't want to get hacked. I'm pretty confident with my desktop computer, but I cannot find a reliable wallet.

So can someone suggest me a good desktop wallet. I really can't find something good, since jaxx and exodus are not open source.. so please help me here. And I want a desktop wallet like Electrum, which doesn't download the whole blockchain.

Cold storage is not an option for me, since their price is almost the same as the amount that I'll invest.

karaniwang ginagamit talaga na wallet para jan ay etherwallet yan ang karaniwang ginagamit sa mga signature bounty campaign depende kung ano nirerecommend na wallet address gamit ko kasi yan minsan waves

Ako gamit ko ay web wallet like sa myetherwallet. Magaan lng kasi siya at madali lang din gamitin. Isa pa, halos ito ang paraan ng pagbabayad ng mga bounty sa mga sumasali ntio. Kaya kung napansin din ninyo, Ether address palagi ang hinihingi nila during sa pagfill up registration form.
Try nyo lang po dito para gumawa ng sarili mo'ng ether wallet.

My ether wallet lang ang ginagamit ko sir eg pero yung iba trezor or other wallet di ko din kasi alam ang iba dyan kaya mag babasa nalang din ako dito maganda talaga ang mga tanong na ganto para malaman din ng iba ang bawat dito my etherwallet lang ang dabest sakin.

@baguhan, payo ko lang wag kang magtatago ng maraming ethereum sa mga exchange delikado na kasi yung bittrex bigla bigla nalang nagsasara ng wallet at posible mangyari din sa ibang exchange yan.

I think you should use MyEtherWallet, tapos print mo nalang yung passkey for safekeeping ng wallet mo. Sa akin, gumagamit din ako ng ImToken, sa android app yun at ang dali lang gamitin. I dont really know if safe ba siya pero ginagamit ko lang yung sa mga maliliit kong eth balances at receiver ng mga airdrops. Mas madali kasi i monitor yung imtoken kasi pwede ka gumawa kahit ilang address gusto mo, tapos isang wallet lang siya.

Kadalasan dito ay myetherwallet po ang ginagamit. Noong una nga nahihirapan ako buti na lng may kakilala ako nagturo sa akin. Pero pwede mo ring e google nandoon yong mga steps kung paano ka gagawa ng myetherwallet.
